  1. That feeling when a lone unanswered forum post query is the first google result and they ask exactly what you need... OP did you ever find anything?
  2. Agree with topic starter. Need 24h clock please...
  3. 1) NPCs will just kill themselves before you know. A random bear on their way, or a dragon, or a vampire - and they're dead before you even encountered them. So I think this is a bad idea. To be able to kill kids, there's a mod Non essential children: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13202/ 2) There are racial tensions. Have you ever been in Windhelm and listened to NPCs? All over Skyrim, there are Nords that hate elves, there are the Thalmor that hate everyone else... 3) This is a matter of personal preference, so I won't be talking you out of it - but remember what Maiq The Liar says - "It doesn't matter how strong or smart one is - it only matters what one can do" My preference is that is very good to get rid of that stats and not worry about annoying power leveling, or else your character would suck badly.
  4. I want a journal like in Oblivion. Where I can read all the history of a quest, not just what I need to do right now. And with more first-person descriptions. Even Better quest objectives helps a bit with this, but still I can't read the story from the beginning. I would also like some options like manual quest categorizing and "abandon quest" feature (don't suggest "the choice is yours", it is not what I want - I want to track everything, but if at some point (not exactly at the beginning of the quest) I decide that I don't want to finish the quest - I abandon it). I.e. I don't give a f*** about Mogrul sending thugs after me, they appeared to be pussies. So after first encounter I would just abandon "A new debt" quest. Oh and also a "search" option would do nice in the journal (just like SkyUI added search to inventory, I want a mod that adds search to the journal)
  5. Thanks, but I'm already using this mod. It is better than vanilla of course, but it doesn't feel like a big improvement (snowberries are still flat!). What I'd like is something like Snowberries SMIM'd.
  6. I agree too, this is a great idea If someone makes this mod, there should be 2 versions: 1st only makes farmers sell you their stuff, 2nd also makes taking their stuff stealing. Actually... I never made any mods myself and always wanted to try. This doesn't sound very complex, so perhaps I'll try  Zenithar help me! Downloading creation kit...
  7. I would like to request a mod that improves appearance of snowberries - makes the berries 3D and looking better. Snowberries are the most common harvestable plant in snowy regions, and it looks flat and pretty ugly - main concern is that berries are flat. Because they are harvestable, it means I have to come close to them, so I have to face their ugliness quite often. Could some kind mod maker and artist please make them look better?http://i.imgur.com/8Q6ISgi.jpg Cheers.
  8. I have tried this with almost no mods installed (only "live another life"). I've also tried changing game settings (disabling AA or AF). I removed all the official DLCs. I installed and uninstalled the unofficial patches. I've also "verified game cache" in steam. Nothing helped. Here are the screenshots: http://sdrv.ms/17NEN1f http://sdrv.ms/17NEQdw How do I fix this?
  9. Hi guys, sorry for digging an old question, if it concerns anyone I would suggest downloading any mod for controller keys changing (I'm using this one: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/246/ ), and then edit the controlmap.txt file accordingly (replace whatever binding of the Toggle POV to 0xff). If you ever customized any controls via in-game menu, you must also "reset defaults" in the game menu -> controls (or instead you can delete the Controlmap_custom file in the Skyrim folder). I am using Logitech Chillstream controller (x360 version, an awesome device by the way) and able to unmap the RS (although I do not prefer to). Instead, I have rebound the D-Pad Up hotkey to LB+Start, assigned favorites menu to D-Pad Up and bound a mod button (iHUD's toggle HUD) to Back :D
  10. Thank you! This removes both the haze and the eyes! I am always getting this effect when leaving apocrypha :(
  11. Hey dude and you are not likely to read my answer, I understand this is a very old topic but I think my post will help someone I was now looking for the solution and could not find it on the internet. So I did a bit of trail and error in the BTmod configuration file and discovered how to do that. 1) Open up the \Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_main_menu.xml 2) Search for the following section: <text name="temp_countdown"> 3) Delete or comment the whole section (until the next </text> closing tag) Just in case you are XML dummy, here is what you need to delete: <text name="temp_countdown"> <depth> 3 </depth> <alpha> 0 <copy src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aecta"/> <onlyif> <copy src="parent()" trait="user1"/> <!-- time left < 0 for constant effects --> <gte>0</gte> </onlyif> </alpha> <red> <copy src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectr"/> </red> <green> <copy src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectg"/> </green> <blue> <copy src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectb"/> </blue> <font> <copy src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectf"/> </font> <x> <copy src="parent()" trait="width"/> <div>2</div> <onlyif src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectxc"/> <add src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aectx"/> </x> <y> <add src="Imp_UI_Settings" trait="_aecty"/> </y> <_integer> <copy src="parent()" trait="user1"/> <ceil> 0 </ceil> </_integer> <string> <copy src="me()" trait="_integer"/> </string> </text> Instead of deleting, you can also comment the section. To do that, add <!-- before it, and --> at the end. You also need to remove the closing of the comment inside (<!-- time left < 0 for constant effects --> - you need to remove --> at the end) 4) Save the xml file and enjoy I also fixed another annoying thing in the BTmod. The "Breath" word near the breath meter and the percentage. So to remove them, you need to edit \Oblivion\Data\menus\breath_meter_menu.xml file 1) Search for <text name="breath_title">, <text name="breath_text">, <text name="breath_text_ds">, <text name="breath_pect">, <text name="breath_pect_ds"> sections 2) In each section, find the <alpha> tag and change the value to 0 (so it will be <alpha> 0 </alpha>) 3) Save the xml file and enjoy  Update: one more fix for BTmod: 125% durability weapon health bar. By default it looks quite ugly (the slider is beyond the bar) 1) Open up the \Oblivion\Data\menus\main\hud_main_menu.xml 2) search for <image name="hudmain_durability_full"> 3) In that section, find <div> 100 </div> 4) Change 100 to 125 and save 5) Done :)
