  1. We have Vending Machines of the Wastes, which provides ready, ingame, and noncheaty (gotta pay) access to every weapon you've got in your game. And ammo. And weapon mods. Including stuff from any mod you install; apparently if it's any sort of gun, this machine has it. I would love to see the same thing for armor/clothing/accessories. Such a thing would be more immersive then, say, Gear Lists, and not nearly as cheaty. Anyone up to the challange?
  2. What I'm trying to accomplish is changing the default female idle animation to something that's less derpy. Located static poses that would work, renamed then to mtidle.kf, placed them in the Locomotion and _male folders (which I must assume are the correct folders; thats where mtidle.kf resides). I either wind up with default animations, or t-poses. I've been doing this sort of thing in Skyrim for years, with few issues. Is there a FINS for FNV, or are there behavior files that need tweaking? I'm at a loss here.
  3. I've been utilizing a Logitek MarbleMouse for several evers. Somewhat unique amongst the track's I've seen; it works equally well with either hand. Fortunate, as I mouse lefty.
  4. I figured it out. And I'm an idiot of the first order. See, I utilize a trackball, rather then a mouse, and have done so for many years. No mousewheel on a trackball. Well, not on mine. Once the tiny "hey..." light dawned in my atrophied brain, I wrote a tiny AutoHotKey script to emulate a mousewheel, and Volia! That was the *REALLY CENSORED* issue. I had compleatly forgotten the mousewheel zoom thing. Did I mention I'm an idiot? Thanks very much for the attempt to help. I'm gonna say it got me thinking in the right direction. Although to be honest, the game developers who just figured "everyone uses the same mouse, we don't need to enable a bind for this" are truly deserving of a solid punch inna snoot.
  5. Currently have both of thoes, to no avail. But I did not have the FOV slider until recently; whatever I did was either .ini tweaks, or console settings that baked into the save. Or both. Even pulling any and all camera mods out has no effect on the proper focus of these older saves, and including them does not address the fisheye in the new one. I wish I could post screenshots, the diffrence is night and day.
  6. Recently I dusted off FNV again to start a new playthrough. I immediatly ran into a fisheye problem, when the 3rd-person FOV is set at more then 90. The larger the FOV, the more distorted the view as one looks to the edges of the screen. One requires an FOV of around 140 to get all of the character on the screen, and the amount of fisheye that produces is literaly nauseating. I tried a number of mods and the usual console tweaking to try to fix it, to no avail. The really bothersome bit is, older saves don't have this issue! I can zoom in and out via console or camera mod (various and sundry) to my heart's content, and the worldview remains consistant and in proper focus. It's as if the camera itself was pulled back, rather then the focus being widened, if that makes any sense. But I don't bloody well remember what I did to fix these earlier playthroughs! I remember it took some digging and tweaking to get it right, but *what* I did is a blank. If anyone has a helpful word or 2, I'd very much appreceate it.
  7. I've been fiddling with Undeath in XEdit as of late. I've managed to get rid of that absurd bleed effect that stops you from fast travelling, so making some headway. My next project is prooving to be more daunting. I'd like to dispose of the popup box that appears when you revert form, and it's associated cooldown. Don't really see a reason for it, other then "game balance". I thought I'd traced it back to "Concentration" in Spell Effects, but even compleatly removing the entry had no effect. I am hoping that wiser and more experianced heads then mine can offer some insight.
  8. Ah, of course. Thank you, forest for the trees and all that. Appreciate the prompt response.
  9. Not a mod request at all, but an appeal for assistance. As the title says, I'm trying to copy a weapon model over a shield model. Let me explain. I've been running with Roland113's excellent Predetors-The Lost Tribes mod for a while now. Once thing that struck me was the lack of shields. There's only 3 that I've found, and one of thoes is absurd. Now, I don't much care for dualwielding. So I thought, "Why not take this left-hand Mammoth Skull Smasher that I never use, and copy that model onto the Xeno Queen Head Shield, which I also never use!". Sounded like a win/win. Can't figure out how to do it. Poking around with TESVEdit gave me some leads, but nothing worked. So what I really need is some instructions. Is such a thing even possible to do? If so, is it a far more involved process then I initially assumed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  10. When you cast an ice spell on something, it's slowed a bit. I'd like to see some status effects added to other elemental spells. For example, if someone is set alight by your fire spell, they should have a chance to panic. I mean, thier on fire, right? Electric effects could be a periodic stagger, that sort of thing. To be honest, I'm wondering why someone hasn't done this yet.
  11. Thank you! That does appear to be exactly what I'm looking for. Appreciate the response! =)
  12. What I'd like is a mod that turns my current-quest marker bright green, or yellow, something along thoes lines. It seems every icon mod tries to go the extra mile and overhaul the entire map, which is presicely what I don't want.
  13. Invisibility is invaluable, particularly if you're the sneaky sort. Unfortunately, in 3rd person, you really are completely invisible, even to yourself. If you have some sort of persistant effect on, like a skin spell, you get this lovely translucent outline that makes it much easier to line up thoes backstabs. What I'd like is a mod that gives that outline to invisibility itself, doing away with the need to first cast a shield just to determine where you are.
  14. I know everyone and his warg wants immersive gameplay. There's handfuls of mods that do away with interface elements, ect. I fall into a diffrent camp. I perfer to play in 3rd person, and on top of that, I'm just this side of legally blind. As a result, that tiny white crosshair vanishes with frustrating regularity. So what I'd like to see (no pun intended) is a larger, brightly- colored crosshair. Something I can see clearly from more then 6 inches away. Call it half an inch or so and bright yellow. Something along those lines. Anyone up for the challenge?
