Thx for the help but i sadly decided to go for the reset way and reinstalled skyrim to vanilla and honestly it was the best choice i have ever made. I have about half my mods installed with enb and it's running smoother than i have ever seen since i first played years ago and I'm so happy. I had lots of enb problems i didn't noticed before but i still got half my mods to install before I celebrate. Hopefully it all goes well or i could at least identify the source of my problems. Though i will take into consideration your points.

The thing is that it will take ages to go through one mode at a time especially when i have mods that are as big as 700 mb and on an HDD will take forever to do.

Happened a year ago. so i was playing modded skyrim fine when i suddenly crash. As i continued to search the problem i started getting more problems than answers. Now i'm in a position i never thought i'd be in. Being with this game since release made me think that i would have all the answers. I searched all over google since then to no avail. Crashes happen when: 1. I load any save.(usually afer reaching Riverwood) 2. During certain conversations. (After the Jarl of Whiterun says "Iraleth, send a dispachment to Riverwood at once" = ctd. And when Iraleth tells the guards in Whiterun to go, after the guard's last sentence = crash) 3. While playing outside cities after a few min, ctd upon opening any menu. 4. Inside certain dungeons and when opening the elderscroll on the purthomax quest. Will you help me? Oh and i do use LOOT and TESVedit.

Okay so i have managed to stop the freezing by lowering the resolution but it still crashes and i seem to not crash on the new save file i made so far after this fix.

Unfortunately starting a new game didn't fix the problem. Also doubt that it coyld be a windows problem as every other game runs fine.

So i am having 2 mayor problems with Skyrim atm. The first and most important one bieng the freezing. Yes i know the task manager shortcuts but the freezing prevents me from doing anything at all forcing me to hold power button to shut down. The other problem is that the only way i can play skyrim is by opening it as admin as otherwise will fail to launch though i know the cause of it (enb) i never found a solution to this. All i ask is to find a solution to the freezing to avoid bricking my pc. It was all working fine a until now and i did absolutely nothing to the game it just happened and wont stop. ;-; Specs intel i5-7200u 2.5 ghz | 8gb ram ddr4 | gtx940mx 2gb vram | 1tb hdd

I have the same problem and the only solution so far is to delete the enb dd3d.l l file or playing on admin mode with the enb. Tho i noticed that by doing so msi doesnt show up.
