  1. In response to post #64758586. #64785821 is also a reply to the same post. Open NMM and in the settings un/recheck 'associate with nxm urls'. AFAIK on the website all thats been changed so far is just the text on the download button, nothing under the hood. I can still use the unofficial NNM build for FO4VR just fine.
  2. In response to post #64565481. #64575221, #64621241 are all replies on the same post. Not the answer I was hoping for, but the explanation was. Maybe its known, or not, but vortex treats FO4VR as an entirely separate game from FO4 where as nexusmods does not, requiring its own dl folder with everything manually copied over.
  3. In response to post #64565481. I was more asking about the reasoning as to why, and not the explanation of code X makes program do X and not Y because code isn't Y.
  4. So it was never answered in my previous comment thread, but why does vortex need the download folder to be empty, and will this ever change? I'm pretty sure all the problems I've had stem from this.
  5. In response to post #64274346. #64278176, #64279141, #64280511 are all replies on the same post. TBH I wouldn't care much if it wasn't for "it’s currently very stable and we’re confident enough in both its abilities and its state to make it the primary mod manager of Nexus Mods.". Though I feel the fact that the download directory needs to be empty is the root of my problems.
  6. In response to post #64274346. #64278176 is also a reply to the same post. Thanks for the help. Looks like its still not time for me to even bother with vortex.
  7. Does anyone have a guide for idiots for importing a mods archive from nmm and for creating the storage location? Because I'm completely missing something unless there is no way to have my downloaded but currently unused mods set like nmm where I have my entire mod archive for every game on one drive and the game+installed mods on the separate game drive. And that there is no way for FO4 and VR to share the same download folder.
  8. I'd pick up a nexus shirt. I probably would consider a mug as well but I pretty much only use my fallout mug, even though I have purchased one of Gopher's I've rarely used it. Sorry mate but fallout's is bigger, and we all know size matters... for more coffee per cup!
  9. In response to post #35626372. #35627002, #35627327 are all replies on the same post. I actually looked to see if this was an option shortly after becoming a supporter because I don't mind ads when they aren't obnoxious or intrusive. The only reason I paid was because I was tired of turning adblock ON for the nexus when doing heavy mod searching because every page kept getting a stupid autoplaying video ad for some candy that wasn't, and couldn't be muted.
