  1. I certainly won't argue with that logic. I remember back at the beginning seeing a post suggesting the person would sue, but more than likely that was internet bluster. Still, some people get pissy about their rights and all it takes is one person with a righteous attitude and money to spare. That person sure as hell isn't me, though.
  2. The idea that Robin doesn't have a lawyer versed in internet law and privacy to run all this by is laughable. As is the idea that non-lawyers would understand it well enough to contradict said lawyer. And yet, there have been famous court cases fought and lost on the very same issues I'm talking about. Companies with whole teams of lawyers screw up, don't consult their lawyers, their lawyers are wrong, and so forth. I don't pretend for a moment that I'm 100% right, but sometimes, even armchair quarterbacks can see when the real quarterback messed up.
  3. I have strong doubts that they've consulted a lawyer, or if they did, it was one who didn't know what they should about Internet legalities. Each case is individual, and I'm not a lawyer, so I won't comment in detail, but I see some things on the site that, if presented in court, would almost certainly be tossed out. I hope, for his sake, Robin consults a better lawyer than the one(s) he's been using so far, if any.
  4. Yes, they definitely can. I use Favorites in Spotify fairly extensively, and I've had Favorites go missing numerous times before. As much as it disappoints me when that happens, I have no issues with the fact that it does...unlike Nexus, apparently.
  5. Just a quick note: I was having this problem as well. Literally nothing happened at all when clicking Import from NMM in the latest version of Vortex. Simply exiting and restarting seems to have solved the problem, though. The same behaviour re-manifested when switching back from Shared to Per-User, and the same solution worked.
  6. It seems like it's the Unofficial Patch's fault. At least, if I disable all mods, but re-enable USSEP, the armour disappears. (Of note, though, I didn't actually uninstall everything, so it's possible, if unlikely, that there's something else at play.)
  7. This is a strange one, and I'm wondering if anybody has any ideas. If my brightness is set to default (fGamma=1.0000), when I load the game, the displayed brightness is incorrect. The setting in the menu looks fine, but the display is much too bright, as if it were about at the 3/4 mark instead of half-way. If I change the brightness by a notch, then put it back, the brightness reverts to what it should be and stays that way on subsequent loads within that session, but then it's back to the 3/4-ish level the next time I launch the game. I've tried removing all mods, resetting all preferences, all that jazz, and none of that works. The only thing I found that works is to set the fGamma to something other than 1.0000. Even setting it to 0.9999 is sufficient. Any ideas what's going on here?
  8. Sorry for the necro, but I just Googled due to the same problem with ENB, where even setting the anisotropy to 16 in the ENB config file, everything past a foot in front of me was still blurry. I double-checked the suggestion above to make sure the driver wasn't forcing it off, and it appeared like it wasn't. In the nVidia control panel, the program settings for Skyrim were set to follow the global setting, which was application-controlled. On a hunch, though, I set the profile to application-controlled as well, and that fixed it. Just a tip, in case it helps anyone else.
  9. Another hint: Overwatch only works if you double-click on the Overwatch icon. Pressing the correct key or single-clicking to bring up the interface won't work.
  10. Yet another vote for adding a Change Password link. Without this thread, I never would've found it. Very, VERY unintuitive.
