Where can i find a relevant guide that will show me how to: make a custom weapon, with completely new stats and values add mod slots ( receivers, barrels, etc.) to the weapon. add it to the leveled lists. make a crafting recipe for it. ?? I am using the creation kit, fo4edit, VMM, zmerge, and my pc is more than strong enough. Help me obi-wan...

now all my mods have no data beyond the file and name. this is very frustrating.

thanks for responding. as for a and b, i didnt know there was a download limit because i am ignorant. c. i watched the entire first harry potter movie and had a very slow lunch, so about 3 hours. d. there were no error messages at all. i know this because i looked for that first in between playing heroes of the storm and tabbing in and out of fullscreen. e. i was able to reinstall vortex. but it wouldnt open, the same as this morning. it was there in the task manager, but no tab or vortex symbol. i gave it an hour or so. f. i used cccleaner to scrub out the old files already after a few attempts at restoring previous folder versions, restoring the pc, crying, and reinstalling vortex a few times. this vortex log is brand new and there are no previous versions. i apologize and will back them up as well next time. g. i am not from the tech savvy generation, i have no idea how to make use of event viewer. i have vortex running again now. i am just trying to figure out how to get my mods and their data back into it from my backup folder.

well hadtoregister, thats why i need adult supervision. now i am unable to reinstall vortex after restarting my pc. Im fairly certain that there were no windows updates to cause this.

I cant get vortex to open today after it told me yesterday that i reached my download limit, i shouldn't be able to do this as im premium btw. im on version 0.17.8.0 i think, according to the properties , since i cant open it. i was downloading mods for fallout4, skyrim se, and skyrim. i have thousands of mods downloaded, but only about 55 installed on SSE im on windows 10, 64 gb ram, 64 bit windows. i have restarted my pc and tried to run vortex as administrator. googled and searched the nexus mods forums for about an hour. the vortex symbol will pop up, but nothing happens afterwards. task manager says its using very high power in 3 processess. im pretty ignorant on pc stuff so i apologize for the lack of information.

ok, so here goes. in merge plugins the masters are in the wrong sequence. it doesnt matter what i check, because the mods that depend on dlc are above the dlc. so nothing that depends on either will be merged. the problem isnt what im checking. the screenshot was just to show that there are mods, even though its an esm, above the dlc it requires. In loot, nmm, and fo4edit the plugins are in the correct sequence. IN merge plugins standalone, they are in the wrong order.

I know, im not trying to, the pic was just to show that my masters are in wrong order. because of that i cant merge anything that depends on them. i tried deleting and re-downloading armor keywords, cross cosmetic framework, and armorsmith; to no success. the 3 dlcs below them are their masters, so any of the armor mods i want to merge that depend on them or the dlc wont. thats my issue.

So, im using the merge plugins standalone and going off the guide by gamer poets. as i select my plugins, i notice that armor keywords and cross cosmetic framework are above the masters they depend on; all the dlc except for the hd texture packs. I used loot to reorder, they arent in that order in nmm, and arent in that order in fo4edit. how do i fix this or am i better off using fo4edit to merge the mods instead. please help, i need an adult. i have the latest versions of loot, f4se, nmm, fallout. the only thing that has changed the load order is when i went into my game folder and sorted the data folder by date. now only 2 of the DLC are below the plugins they are masters to.....
