  1. There are UI and scripts that need to be installed in your override folder if you want to select the party editor from the menu. Also the party editor doesn't work for modules, only campaigns. I posted instructions for converting modules to campaigns in my blog at bbellina.blogspot.com.
  2. The Makeover does not add books to the inns. The Party Editor is accessed via the Player menu as displayed in the image above. My Deck of Trumps item from the Silverwand Sundries can also be used to open the Party Editor.
  3. The Makeover is fully compatible with the platinum version sold on steam as well as the complete version sold on GOG. I know because I have purchased and tested on every variant of NWN2 that there is for both Windows and Mac. On Steam NWN2 Platinum Edition on Windows 10 by default the "Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign" folder that you install the Makeover into is located in Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Neverwinter Nights 2. Within the "Neverwinter Nights 2" folder there are three sub-folders, one for the OC named "Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign", one for expansion 1 (MotB named Neverwinter Nights Campaign_X1), and one for expansion 2 (SoZ named Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign_X2). First make a compressed copy of the "Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign" folder in case you decide to restore to the original version (DO NOT COPY AND RENAME THE FOLDER, MAKE A COMPRESSED COPY). In the Makeover instructions it says to copy the files from the "Put content in Campaign folder" into that folder named "Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign". Then copy the files from "Put content in campaign UI folder" into the Neverwinter Nights 2 Campaign / UI folder. In each case you should replace the files when copying. NOTE: Copy the contents of the folders, not the "Put content in..." folders themselves. After that when you start NWN2 you will have the option of starting a new campaign and the campaign title will show NWN2 OC Makeover Edition. In the player menu, which is accessible when playing by clicking on the big eye in the lower left corner you will see that under the Player List option there is now a Party Editor option. It is the Party Editor option that allows you to edit your party. I have the Steam version myself and I had no problem with this. If you still have a problem then you should make sure that you do not have anything in either of the override folders. The one Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Neverwinter Nights 2 > Override should ALWAYS be empty. The one Documents > Neverwinter Nights 2 > override is normally where you install custom content. If you have something installed there that also alters the playmenu that that will override the Makeover version. Hope this helps you out.
  4. I don't have access to the toolset this week. Most generically useful scripts are campaign scripts, not module scripts. Check under the campaign scripts tab in the toolset or look at the nss scripts in the campaign folder. Regards
  5. It is on my blog. Or you can just Google Silverwand Sample Campaign.
  6. Download my Silverwand Sample campaign and look at the sundial. There are other scripts and useful techniques in the campaign for people getting started modding NWN2 as well. Regards
  7. I play NWN2 in every possible way. I own both the Mac NWN2 DVD version and the Mac App Store version. I also have a Wineskin with the WIndows version of NWN2 installed, and I reboot into a WIndows XP Bootcamp partition and play that way as well. I less occasionally have played using Parallels and VMWare. Of course I also own all of the digital versions of NWN2 that were released online. I probably have at least 20 versions I've purchased over the years. On my blog at bbellina.blogspot.com I have instructions for how to copy the MotB and SoZ and MoW files over to a Mac NWN2 install from a Windows Bootcamp partition. I also have instructions for how to create a NWN2 Wineskin, though it does not have full functionality such as the Toolset.
  8. I'd like to provide a link to my uploads from my blog at Google. Using the advanced search it is easy to get a list of uploads filtered by my uploader name. However, if you take the the results URL and try to use it directly you get an unfiltered list of all mods. Ideally something very simple such as the path to the search with one parameter indicating the filter should be sufficient and everything else should default. That way you can alter the search functionality in the future without breaking external links people have set up. If there is a preferred alternative way to provide a link to just my mods please let me know. Regards
  9. I never wanted to replay it either. That was my primary motivation for developing the Makeover - to make the OC something I would want to replay. Regards
  10. Sure you can, though it can be a bit tricky and it isn't commonly done. You can add additional NPC's, conversations, scripts, blueprints, etc. via the override folder or by adding them into the campaign folder. You can add additional areas by including them in a module and adding that module to the campaign. The tricky bit is that you cannot alter the existing modules except through script, so if an area lacks an on entry script, for example, it makes it difficult to alter objects in that area very much. In the OC Makeover I altered many things, and in the MotB Makeover I added additional areas, NPC's, quests, and more. Regards
  11. D&D has an equivalent to nunchaku called the Flindbar. It is two 18 inch metal rods connected by a chain. Can be used for damage as well as disarming. Twirling nunchaku can be a lot of fun to do and to watch. Bruce Lee's routine in Enter the Dragon isn't actually that hard to do.
  12. This is pretty close. Could be a little confusing to a user, but if they scroll down they at least see them all. Thanks much. Regards
  13. The mods management page is useful for seeing all of your mods at once. However, is there a way to create a link to all of your mods for someone else to see? I'd like to have a link people can click on and it shows them all of my mods. I haven't found a way to do that with Nexus. Regards
