This is a solution for 2018. (Well it was for me anyway) CTD Major cities. There were 4 mods that caused it for me. 1,2,3.All Bijin mods.Warmaidens,wifes and npc's. 4.Populated Cities. After disabling them all : Game runs fine :-) Let's face it,a multi modded Skyrim is like "Walking On Broken Glass" :-( You never quite know where the next crash is coming from. I have around 140 mods installed. A word of advise to newcomers modding Skyrim : "TAKE YOUR TIME" Mod 2 or 3 at a time. That way,if you do get a crash,it's easier to find out which one is causing it :-) "Happy Killing Everybody" :cool:

Hi Guys,Gals. Being relatively new to modding in general, I recently had to re-install The Witcher 3 as I was having problems with my laptop. I already had a lot of mods installed with NMM. Unfortunately when I relaunched the game althougth the saved games were intact,all the mods were gone. !! So,I uninstalled all the mods (Which were visable within NMM) and installed a couple of mods just to see if everything was working. No !! the mods don't load when i launch the game via NMM. Am i missing something here ?. Any advise would be greatly appreciated :-)
