  1. Um hello. Not sure if this is the right spot, but it seemed the best spot. Long story short my mom just passed away today. She was only 46 so it's a shock to say the least. In trying to process and rationalize what just happened I thought of all the things my mom and I shared. The biggest one was our love of video games. She was actually the one that got me into the elder scrolls with Morrowind and later when she bought me my own copy of Oblivion and Skyrim. It was this love of the elder scrolls that allowed us to connect even when things were rough. So in honor of that I wanted to add a shrine in memory of her somewhere in the world of Skyrim and maybe the other games too. Once I get it figured out. Mainly I just need some tips on how to do what I am trying to do. I know a little bit of how to do things in Creation Kit, but mainly just changing stats and so on. I have never really added anything to the world before. So any advice would appreciated. Other than that. Thanks for reading, have a nice day and maybe call your parents and tell them you love them.
  2. Really late to the party, but there is also Franka the Battle goat mount by frankdema https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27775
  3. Hello fellow modders and Happy New Year. Today I have a, what I assume to be, simple request. I put the Knight of Stendarr armor mod together for Oldrim using NordwarUA's vigilant of Stendarr armors from his minor factions armor pack. From here on I will be using the terms from my mod to avoid confusion. So the "Paladin" armor has the steel breast plate with two pauldrons and the "Knight" armor is no breastplate with two pauldrons. The one thing that has always bothered me with the Paladin armor is the goofy 3 neck ring gorget. Where as the Knight armor has a normal looking gorget. So my request is, replace the goofy gorget piece on the Paladin armor with the gorget piece from the Knight armor. If it's possible of course. I really have no idea or tools required for this. If someone feels like taking this on I would appreciate it, otherwise I'll deal with it like I have for the last few months. Pics for reference: Male Female
  4. Hello ladies and gents, I have a request, I have sent messages to Tacoduck300 and GlennCroft as it involves them. I haven't heard anything yet, but I am not rushing them, I understand being busy.I am doing this as my due diligence so that I know I did every option without actually doing it myself. If it comes to that I will take the steps to learn how to mashup armor and clothing. Now back to the request. I stumbled across Tacoduck's vault stalker outfit and I love the look of it. However the vault suit doesn't fit the survivalist hunter guy I have going. So what I would like is take the vault stalker outfit and replace the vault suit with the rad stag hide outfit (yes I am aware that the vest part is from that same outfit, but I think it will look fine.) bonus points if you can take the pelt belt from the hunters pelt outfit from far harbor and attach it under the skirt flaps from the vault stalker outfit, but if that can't be done that is fine too. I feel the radstag hide outfit, with the vest/skirt flaps and hood from the vault stalker outfit combined will do everything that I am after, the pelt belt (if it can be done) would be the icing on the cake. Then you end up with a sneaky, hunter, survivalist outfit that would blend in with the world of Fallout 4. hopefully someone feels the same as I do and can do this, but if not I will wait for one of the authors to get back to me. Thanks for reading, have a nice day.
  5. Well first off, good luck everyone. Even if i do not get a key I am going to try. I have had my eye on this game for a while now, and being short on money I sadly cannot get it. So i started watching ESO's gameplay videos to help me get through not being able to play it myself. Then i saw this and figured I should try it and see what happens.
  6. WOW I am super late to this party, but i found the solution to your problem because I just solved it not five minutes ago after finding this post. SO here is what i did. In your archive section of the SkyrimEditor.ini you will find SArchiveList=Skyrim - Textures.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Voices.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa, Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa so i added , Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa after the Shaders.bsa. Then in the sResourceArchiveList2 part the hearthfire.bsa was giving me problems so further looking i found it has to be HEARTHFIRES.bsa so it would look like this SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa That solved the problem for me I hope it helps you if you are still looking for the answer 5 years later. Or if anyone comes to this post i hope my answer helps
  7. I am not one hundred percent that sword is in it, but you can try the dragon age weapon pack. Either on the nexus or steam workshop. Give it a look and go from there. Good luck
  8. Hmm you can try random alternate start. I think that was an option, but it only happens when you start a new game. I do not know how much it has been changed since I last used it lol
  9. Try nock to tip. It changes a few other things, but it actually has the arrows going through people. I highly recommend it
  10. This will probably go no where, but I suggest using the mods Simple Hauberk Early Middle Ages helmets pack Clontvik sword Can't remember the actual name but it is like Viking weapons by Johnskyrim. But you get some good shields. The use nord longbow mod for a ranged weapon It will probably be the best you are going to get. But good luck on trying to get someone to make the armor.
  11. alright well my bad. obviously i didn't know, but thanks for informing me of such things.
  12. what video? that is piracy alright. but here is the thing i found out the author removed all of his mods so nobody could download them. SO doing some deep web searches you can still download the mod on whatever japanese mod site it was. wouldn't that be mod piracy as well? just curious since that is kinda the same thing right here
  13. I had the mod downloaded for a while for an eventual gunslinger build, but when got around to doing it i had to uninstall fallout 4 and lost all my mod data. so i went to download it again and it is just gone :(. all i can find now is a Gopher Mod Vault video about it. So what happened to the mod? and if possible does any one know another site to get it, or has it in their mod data files and would be willing to share it with me? anything would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
  14. Well thanks for the reply! I appreciate it greatly. I will use this as a guide and see what I can do. Thanks again :)
  15. Hello, hopefully you're reading this. So anyway I need help. I have limited modding experience, but I really want to do this idea. First off though, does one need permission to tinker on someone else's mods even though they have no plans of releasing anything, just use it for their own personal playthroughs? So here is what I need help with, I'm sure most of you have searched through the weapon mods and seen the Clontarf sword and the Viking Dragon sword? Both are made by the same author(can't remember his name right now) but I simply want to take the blade from the Viking dragon sword and put it on the Clontarf sword handle. If possible I'd like to use the Dragon sword's scabbard with this creation. So what tools would I need and roughly how difficult do all of you think it would be?
