  1. The mod creator released an update to QMods August 2021, 4.3 version fixed the issue for me: https://www.nexusmods.com/subnautica/mods/201
  2. Random Encounters is not compatible with the current version of the game, without some serious editing. Many of it's scripts are incorrect (and were even when it was compatible), causing most of the monsters to not spawn in at all. You will need to know how to write/edit C++ codes to get it working, but you can do it. I do have it up and running on my game (1.32 GOG GoTY) and have been using it since 1.30 edition, but it took me several months of rewriting the code to get it to work. I found several huge code errors in the scripts of the mod, and was able to fix some of them, but I'm a retired senior citizen, so I can sit here for 8 hours a day rewriting it's codes. If you are someone with a job or going to school, I doubt you'd have enough free time to devote to fixing the scripts enough to get it running. I plan to upload this bug-fix for it once it's finished, but, that's not likely to be until late 2020 or more, just because this mod has so many bugs, glitches, and errors even after I was ale to get it to load in the game  I wish it worked better, because when it does work it's a great mod. It's how I've got the Wild Hunt chasing Avallac'h and Ciri in my Avallac'h Playthrough, but if you've ever watched my Twitch steams of it, you know how often this mod crashes the game... on average Random Encounters crashes my game every 12 minutes. It's so unstable, even after getting it to load. There are a few mod makers who have made various bug fixes for it, and many users claim to have been able to use it through those. If you search Nexus for "Random Encounters" you'll find these. I've not tried those so not sure how they work, but a lot of people say they's been able to get the mod to load with them, though they all, also report that the bugs and glitches are still really bad and cause a lot of game crashing.
  3. did you just delete the mod folder (if so, you 'broke' the game, but it's easy to fix) or did you use the Geralt Doppler Installer (the same bat/exe program that installed it on your game) to uninstall the same way you originally installed if you uninstalled it with the bat installer you can type in console: setcustomhead('head_1') save your game, reload; should be fixed If that still doesn't work, make sure to check your user.settings and input.settings files for any left over codes. Search for GD and GeraltDoppler, and just delete any line with those in it (there will be around 300 to 500 of them if you were using the sandbox; closer to 50 or so if you used the presets... every item, head, hair, boots, etc you used will be listed in here, and you'll have to delete them all, one line at a time, making sure not to delete your other non-Doppler settings Check too in your bin for the Geralt Doppler's xml and ini files; (one is titled 'hidden' while the rest all have 'Geralt Doppler' in the title so are easy to find); those all need to be deleted as well. .................... Keep in mind that the Geralt Doppler Installer installs files ALL THROUGHOUT YOUR COMPUTER, many, many, many, many more files and folders then just the modGeraltDoppler folder in you mod list; so if you 'manually' removed it by just deleting the modGeraltDoppler folder from your mod list, you've still got several dozen more files to uninstall, including in the bin, in your user.settings, in your ini, in your documents, in your input.settings, ect. If you know where they all are you can continue to manually delete each file, but a lot of them, you can't just delete, you have to go into the file and fully rewrite the scripts to remove the scripts the Doppler added and revert back in the old scripts the Doppler deleted. The process can take several hours at best. This is why you both install and uninstall with the bat installer. .................... If you just deleted the modGeraltDoppler folder and did not use the bat installer; try using the bat installer to re-install the mod again; then use the bat installer to uninstall it and that should fix it; if not, then try the head-reset method above and checking the files listed, and it should fix it .................... IMPORTANT!!! IF NONE OF THAT WORKS, YOUR GAME MAY HAVE SUFFERED A CORRUPTED SAVE FILE!!! Remember too, that The Geralt Doppler is a very old-style mod created back in the early days of Witcher 3 modding and that it was originally made for Witcher 1, not Witcher 3, so it has so seriously save file corrupting issues; considered a "save file leech mod" meaning there's a 90%+ chance that uninstalling it will corrupt your save files and you'll need to restart the game new upon removing it. Never, never, never, NEVER use the Geralt Doppler if you've not got your game autosaving every 10 minutes or less. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE THE GERALT DOPPLER UNLESS YOUR GAME IS SET TO AUTOSAVE EVERY 3 MINUTES!!!!!!! AND make a manual save AT LEAST EVERY HOUR.... IN A NEW SAVE SLOT.... DO NOT OVER WRITE YOUR OLD SAVE! So, if you play the gave for 4 hours today, and 3 hours yesterday, you should have 7 separate, individual save files now. Yes, this creates tens of thousands of save files on your computer, but it's the ONLY way you can guarantee continuing to play the game without starting a new game. If you only have 1 save file and kept saving on top of it, then, you are sunk and the only thing you can do is restart the game from the very beginning, completely losing all of your 50 hours + progress it took you to get to Isle of Mists. I have had this happen before, so I know how frustrating it is. If there is one thing the Geralt Doppler has taught me, it is how to be a spastic saver. In order to play the game from your current playthrough, after uninstalling the Geralt Doppler IF IT HAS CORRUPTED YOUR SAVE FILE you need to keep reloading your autosaves... load the most recent 10 minutes back... if that doesn't work, go 10 minutes before it (20 minutes back)... if that doesn't work go to the next one (30 minutes back) and so on, until you finally reach an uncorrupted autosave file that let's you load up the game as Geralt. I've used the Geralt Doppler in 11 Completionist runs now, and am the mod maker who has been making the unofficial bug fixes and updates for it after it's original creator abandoned it several years ago; I've been working on it for 2 years now but unfortunately I've not yet found a way to fix it's save file corrupting bug  The 3 - 10 minute autosave is the only work around I've found for what is arguably the worst of the Geralt Doppler many bugs
  4. there was a mod that had the option of 5, 8, and 10 runes, and allowed one set of runewords, so 1 runeword + 2, 5, or 7 extra runes. Sadly is has not been updated since version 1.22, and I do not now how to update it myself, otherwise I would. (I tried but couldn't get it to work) it seems the mod creator abandoned their account, and none of their mods are updated since around 2016, so none of their mods work on 1.31 GoTy. So, I know it CAN be done, because it has already been done, but it was done on an old version and I can't figure out how to convert it to the new version. If anyone knows how to update the mod that adds extra runes to swords, I too would love to see it again. It was a great mod when it worked.
  5. in the Geralt Doppler mod, one of the options is to wear a sword on your hip. See image below, of my Twitch stream gameplay, playing as Avallac'h and wearing extra clothing items, including a sword on his hip: http://www.eelkat.com/images/avallach-geralt-doppler-moroccan-wizard-mask-hip-sword-geels-panthers.jpg http://www.eelkat.com/images/avallach-geralt-doppler-moroccan-wizard-mask-hip-sword.jpg The first picture you can see the whole thing from a distance in sandbox play, and the 2nd one you can see top of it in cutscene. (Geralt Doppler is how the mask, head scarf, and hip sword are on Avallac'h here; his staff on his back comes from the npc weapon mod and Ge'els and the panthers are traveling with him via the Spawn Companions mod... in total I'm running 78 mods on this playthrough) There is at least 4 other mods, that have hip swords as well, but all of them are game overhaul mods (reshade light, mass change textures of eyes/skins/etc, add shadows, fix glitches, etc) and none of them has just the hip sword available separately. I do not know how the creators of these mods made them. I know the Geralt Doppler one, simply takes sword files off crowd npcs and attaches the file to the torso file of your player character, but how they went about attaching it, I don't know. The Geralt Doppler version, the sword is just a "prop" and can not be used, so you still have the ones on your back. There is one mod, I forget the name, but it is very new, came out around May 2018, that turns the swords into guitairs, AND moves them to the hip. Thus Geralt can now fight with a guitar instead of a sword. I do not know how the made that mod, but the guitar on the hip, replaces the swords and has animations. Perhaps you should try downloading the guitar mod and "dissecting" it to see how it is made and if you can do whatever they did to move swords to hip So, it can be done, because it has been done, just don't know how they did it. If you are able to do it though... I'd really, love it if you could make it so any sword could be at the hip. I'd love my (Avallac'h's) Ofieri steel saber at the hip. When playing Avallac'h, his character should have the sword on his right hip (as he is left handed) and his staff on his back. So I'm looking for a mod that only moves the steel sword to the (left) hip but leaves the silver sword on the back (because Avallac'h's staff replaces Geralt's silver sword)
  6. I second the request for someone to make this mod. I too have thought of making this, but also could not figure out how to do it. If someone knows, would love to see this made.
  7. Geralt Doppler: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/1031 It's how I did my YouTube Let's Play, playing as Avallac'h instead of Geralt; I then spawned in Ciri as a travel companion, (with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/2459) and did a whole 400 hour let's play fanficing Avallac'h and Ciri's pre-Isle of Mists travels The Geralt Doppler let's you play any of the primary NPCs, (Triss, Yen, Zoltan, Ge'els, Radovid, Emperor, etc. about 300 characters to choose from); and the Spawn Companions, let's you add any one of the total of ALL 5,000 npcs in the game, including monsters and animals... so I gave Avallac'h a pet panther as well, plus had him "kidnap" Ge'els and just drag Ge'els around on their travels for no reason. Loads of fun with the Geralt Doppler and the Spawn Companions mods. Definitely think they might be what you are looking for.
  8. oh my! I would love this as well! But I have no clue if it's possible or not. Anyone know?
