  1. I love New Vegas, but I hate the level design. A lot of places just look dull and not very detailed. So I decided to create a mod that fixes that. These are the planned features of the mod: More detailed exteriors and interiors.Improved exterior and interior lighting.More NPCs where it would make sense, i.e. in settlements or camps.(Maybe) New dungeons.(Maybe) Better AI packages.(Maybe) More traveling NPCs. Screenshots: More to come...
  2. All the cities featured in Oblivion will be in the mod, along with two other cities - Sutch and Mir Corrup (not really a city, it will be about Riverwood-sized).
  3. Here's some screenshots to show that we're not dead: http://i.imgur.com/XyFS6gj.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Q19qYUB.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Fh0MR7i.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/qZvc7sw.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/uT4LBOn.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/hNRFWBo.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/PsMQvKs.jpg
  4. Combining it into a single mesh will cause lighting problems, so it's not a very good idea unless you want flickering lights everywhere.
  5. Thank you so much! I will try this out right away! (I'm Wellpapp from Beyond Skyrim)
  6. He used Beyond Skyrim's All-Tamriel heightmap for this map, so unless he edits the heightmap himself and adds Bleakrock Isle, it probably won't be on the map.
  7. Hey, maty. Could you make some more room in you Nexus inbox? I want to ask you something, but I can't PM you, because it says you can't receive any new messages.
  8. It will be present in the world of Skyrim, yes. It will open the border between Skyrim and Cyrodiil. It will be almost like a new game, there will be a whole new world to explore, a main quest, tons of side quests, new followers, player homes, weapons and armor, spells, etc. But you will still be able to play the Skyrim quests and you can travel back and forth between Skyrim and Cyrodiil as you please.
  9. We always have room for more people. So if you want to help, I suggest you visit our forum and post in the sign-up thread here: http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/topic/1814-general-signup-thread/ Also, if you want to learn how to use the CK, we'll teach you.

  11. I'm really looking forward to this! Great job!
  12. A "demo version" of Cyrodiil will be released in April/May this year. It will contain Bruma and the Jerall Mountains. There might be a demo or beta of High Rock later this year, too.
  13. Beyond Skyrim is a collaboration between different province mods. Currently, we have teams working on Cyrodiil, High Rock, Hammerfell, Elsweyr and Roscrea (an island north east of Tamriel). Morrowind and Valenwood are currently in hiatus, though it looks like Morrowind is coming back alive. These provinces are all built on the same heightmap and they are sharing assets, knowledge and even team members. So these mods will all be compatible with each other.
  14. It will be available in late April or early May.
  15. The max size a worldspace can be in Skyrim is 128x128 cells. Or, I should say, the max playable area is 128x128 cells. If you go outside those 128x128 cells, things will start to act weird. NPCs will glitch out, activators will stop working, etc. This is because of a bug in Skyrim's physics engine. I don't know if you already knew about this or not, but I'm telling you anyway. Just in case. This means that your landscape heightmap can be max 4096x4096 pixels (in comparison, Skyrim's heightmap is 3809x3009 pixels). Just wanted to warn you before you start working on the heightmap. I'm from the Beyond Skyrim project and our heightmap was originally way bigger than 4096x4096 pixels. And then we discovered the worldspace bug and had to split it up into smaller worldspaces. And that sucks. Good luck!
