As a free user, downloading files usually just in the 1 to 2.9MB but ever since this Jan 2023 downloading files from Nexusmods has gotten really slow

Try checking youtube for videos like: logging in using safe mode Maybe you could find specific video for your situation. Good luck

I too experiencing really slow downloads (from 10bytes to 50kb) only in the Nexusmods but not on the files from other sources since this Jan 2023

Choose the game where you downloaded the mod you are looking for then search that mod from the Download History

Maybe your game was facing: -Too much or has conflicting mods that does the same (skeleton / animations / duplicated meshes) -Missing assets for the player character that's why the game crashes for trying to load it -The mod manager bugs and missed to completely remove some loose files from a mod you might have uninstalled that now conflicts to a mod that has something to do for starting new a game I think the only way to go was to uninstall all your mods then install only the mods that has something to do with creating your character at the beginning and see if you able to get passed at creating one. After not experiencing any problem at that point, you then painstakingly starts adding the mods you wanted for your game.

Seems the Relighting Skyrim has conflicts with ELE Maybe play around which ones could be compatible with the ENB you are using by one by one installing it to your game. or just like Algabar said, adjust your ENB GUI to toned up your game.

That's definitely of Skyrim's. Maybe you have recently deleted some textures/meshes that has something to do with certain NPC's looks? If so, reinstalling that "certain npc mod" could bring back those missing assets that the game was unable to load or simply reinstalling the whole game (after uninstalling all mods) just to get back any missing files from the game.

It could be you have mod(s) that might be in a wrong position in the game's load order, you missed to install a required mod/patch that's needed for specific mod you are currently using, or maybe there's an NPC/event on the other side that's missing a required mod(s) to work properly.

I'm not familiar with the video you are referring to. But these three was the ones i could think off that resembles your description
