  1. Something that a mod from new vegas implemented really well ant that I'm really hoping for a fallout 4 mod to do too is a way to short and display items that we collect with just clicking a button. The mod I'm refering to is this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37884/ And what I mean (it's hard to put in a sentence, english isn't my first language) is at 09:10 of this video: https://youtu.be/gYfIHoK2Qcw I will try my best to explain what this mod does: You arrive to your home loaded with loot from the wasteland, you click a button and select "short X into containers" where X may be food, beverages, ammo, explosives, valuable items, chems, magazines, bobbleheads... and all items in your inventory from X category goes to a specific container designated for X (all containers are located and accesible in the home). Then you may click again and select "Stock X from containers" wich will display X in the shelves destinated to X until the shelves are full and the restant amount of X stays on the designated container. You may also pick each individual displayed item directly from the shelves (they are like an item dropped from inventory, they are not just stored into a shelf inventory like if the shelf was just a container and the amount stored was displayed), and their position is locked (you can't make them fall by touching them). You can also select "take X on shelves" wich will take all X displayed and put them into their designated container. So, you arrive home with your carry weight almost reached, you click a button (and select a few options) and now your inventory is cleared from things you will not need in your next trip and all your items have been sorted and displayed in a percisely and clean way. You are ready to go out now. To put all this into perpesctive, the home in this mod has: -A display for snowballs. -A display for bobblehead. -A display for magazines. -A display for food with different shelves for sugar bombs, potato chips, salisbury steak... and a container for food. -A display for beverages with different shelves for all nukacola types, wine, sunset sarsaparrilla, beer... and a fridge container for beverages. -A display shelf and a container for purified water. -A display with several shelves and a container for each ammo and explosive type. -A locker with a couple of shelves for each kind of chem and a common container for all chems. -A wall for weapons wich displays a model of each weapon (10mm, laser rifle, hunting rifle, shotgun...), separate containers for heavy weapons, energy weapons, melee weapons, rifles... -A container for each type of armor. -A display shelf for prewar money. -And a container for misc items. All of them implemented with the system explained and maybe I'm even missing some of them... The home has also A LOT of other features. I was hoping for a home to implement a system like this where you really can see your collection growth instead of a long inventory with lots of numbers. You can for example measure the ammunition you have by just looking at the shelves -instead of looking into a container- and pick the ammo you need from the shelves (I think it was like 25 bullets per ammo box) instead of open a container, seach the ammo you need and play with the slide to select the amount. If the ammo has weight, like in survival mode, it's a life quality improvement in my opinion. It's also great if you are a big collector that wants to display (nearly) ALL your items. This could be implented is several ways now that we have the settlement system and could be really cool to combine with the contraptions DLC.
  2. I'm used to bethesta kind of storage where you can put things in different containers. Here I can use only one container that gets laggy when you put too much stuff inside and It's a mess since you can't even sort it by name. Besides, I like to keep all my stuff, I'm the collector type of player... and I can't even storage my books! I would like a mod to solve that problem. The solutions I can think of are: -Implement some kind of sorting for the storage inventory. -Add new unlinked chests to the game. -Unlink chests that are already in the game. -Create different tabs in the chest. -At least make chest fluid when filled.
