I've just gotten started making my own mods (about time), but I'm a little unsure about some general etiquette for using modder's resources. I have a ton of respect for all the modders that inspired me and the last thing I want to do is be a jerk on accident. If I want to use a mesh, but I want to change the textures, or edit the UV, or remove a part of it, or some similar modification to fit my needs, can I do so? Especially if the permissions say this: "Modification permission: You must get permission from me before you are allowed to modify my files to improve it" Do the sort of modifications I mentioned count as "improving" it? Even if not, is that just kind of rude to do to someone else's assets without asking, or is that just considered a part of asset use?
