After the most recent update to Vortex, my theme fonts are very small and hard to read. I can change the font size in a clone of the theme, but the Title bar icons are about 1/2 the size of the previous version of Vortex and the "Set as Primary" indicator hangs below the Icon. Is there a way to reset the Theme via an .ini file? Nothing I have tried using the theme settings is changing that Icon size. RetroDaddy RetroDaddy

[LE] What are script fragments for?
RetroDaddy replied to Pananacakes's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
Is it possible to use a "Script Fragment" outside of a quest? I have about 340 small scripts I'd like to combine into one, and then use fragments of that one in books with no actual quest involved. -
Thank you so much. I really love this mod manager and appreciate what has been made. Phil

installing my (authored) Fallout 4 mod via Vortex I place a folder in the scripts folder (by design) with 3 scripts in it. Mod works properly. Uninstalling my Fallout 4 mod through Vortex, it removes the files in the folder, but does not remove the folder. Is this normal, everything I placed is removed except for the folder. This behavior does not happen in Skyyrim of FO3, FNV I think due to all scripts being stored in the same directory's. Fallout 4 allows for custom folders inside the Scripts and Source folders, is there way a for me to change the way in which I "Zip" my files to make a clean uninstall of FO4 mods so that folders I place are removed? How do I load multiple master files?
RetroDaddy replied to Burnout122812's topic in Fallout 4's Creation Kit and Modders
The correct fix is: First modify the, CreationKit.ini [General] BAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1 Second modify the, Fallout4.ini [Archive] SResourceArchiveList2=Fallout4 - Animations.ba2, DLCCoast - Main.ba2, DLCRobot - Main.ba2, DLCworkshop01 - Main.ba2, DLCworkshop02 - Main.ba2 -

Kudos, and a well deserved "Well Done". -
I had an issue where the uExteriorCellBuffer=36 was misspelled. It showed as " uExterior Cell Buffer=36 " in my ini file, once i removed the spaces, my game quit crashing during cell load. I believe the spelling disorder simply kept the entry from firing, so no exterior cell buffer was given to the game. I hope this helps others with their problem. I don't know how this error appeared in my INI but it was a newly "Steam verified file.

Tannin42Can the path be SET to what I want for saves, or is it dependent on a set rule?

I love GOG, I get to play some older games I love that aren't available anywhere else.

Nexus Mods comes through again. Though I've never played this game, it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

In response to post #57603581. an excerpt from one of my social media sites, Thanks to rmm200 If you are using NMM to manage Fallout 4 (for example), download and install Vortex. Run Vortex and click "Import from NMM". Close Vortex. Open NMM and set up a profile with NO mods selected. Activate it. Close NMM and verify your game directory is squeaky clean. Fire up Vortex and click "Deploy". Take a look around settings, and give it a test run. If you want to go back to NMM for awhile, click "Purge mods" first. Game directory is squeaky clean again.
