  1. Hello, Im after a new copy of a character preset mod called 'Feis' by 'AvailableKiwi'. It was set to 'Hidden' on the nexus on 29 April. I have attempted to contact the mod author but have had no reply so far. I technically have the mod but despite creating a 'save as' copy in Race Menu to tweak and alter i have somehow accidently tweaked and saved over both iterations. I am hoping to get an unaltered copy and preferably its specific requirements as well to start over. If im overlooking something that may restore her im happy to learn about that also. If asking other players and modders to share files goes against any rules or code then disregard, Im not sure about these things. Hope you can help and thanks for your time. Regards, Anders.
  2. Yes im sorry, i realised i posted this in the wrong spot. I got Nexus and Vortex mixed up. I have been feverishly trying to remove the post but apparently we cant do that, i have tried editing but that doesnt work either? If you as an admin could remove it please i would appreciate it. Regards, Anders.
  3. Is it possible to create a custom or specific tag within the 'Content Blocking' tab in my user preferences in Vortex? I have figured out and used tag blocking successfully using the tags automatically provided but i have other attributes i would like to block to streamline the daily list of new mods. For example (and I'm sure this wont be popular) I want to limit the amount of body type variants i see uploaded every day. I am only interested in basic CBBE or basic UNP, I am not interested in the multitude mods using variants of these body types and would like to weed out these mods from the daily uploads. I noticed there is a tag for TBD which i was easily able to add to my list of blocked tags but not for such things as 3BBB 3BA and BHUNP I could block by author but then i would miss their other suitable for me mods. If there is a way to create/generate specific tags to suit the individual player please let me know. P.s. I know asking previously answered questions on a forum seems be a crime worse than kicking puppies but i tried searching for words like 'tag/tags' and 'block/blocking' but got Zero results. Thanks.
  4. Thank you for replying to my issue and for providing this link, following this guide is the closest ive come to getting anywhere with this issue. Unfortunately nothing has changed, i still dont have any admin account access. It seems i have encountered another windows paradox where i need admin rights to restore admin rights, lol. The partial good news is that i have been watching 'Gophers' youtube tutorials on how to use vortex and they have been a great help so i can at least still play FO4 confidently using vortex. (Gophers you tube vortex tutorials.) The other good news is that my son in law (who built my machine) says he may be able to give me admin rights via booting my system from the windows disc and creating a admin account from there..... or something like that. Regards
  5. Hi, I'm Anders. First time poster. I run a single user pc (win10). It was set up with one account which is a administrator account i.e. me. When installing Vortex for the first time i heeded the message about not installing under an admin account so i changed my account setting to a standard account instead and went ahead and installed Vortex, no problems. Trouble is i have now decided that for irrelevant reasons that Vortex is not for me i would rather go back to Nexus MM. But!... I can't. I can not reinstall NMM without being an admin, i cant do a lot of things now and guess what? i cant change my account type back to admin status  Why? because only admins can change account status's. I googled this issue last night (Aussie time) and found about 20 different ways to change back to admin status and my pc gave me about a dozen error codes and messages to say i couldn't do that. Most of the messages were saying "you cant do that without admin privileges" Doh! I even went as far as contacting Microsoft help and having a guy remotely take over my pc and run through different scenarios trying to reestablish my admin rights (which were the same procedures i went through before) but to no avail. He said the only way was to do a backup and reset of my pc, fair enough i said, he gave me some brief instructions and left me to it. Guess what? You cant do a back up and reset without frickn damn admin rights.. Aaarrgghh! Now, hindsight is a wonderful thing as they say and if i had created another user account while still an admin and installed vortex under that i'd be fine, also if i hadn't uninstalled NMM i would also be ok (sort of, id still need admin for other stuff) but i didnt so here we are. I know that this is ultimately a windows issue rather than a Vortex issue but this all started because i wanted to install Vortex (Its not Vortex's fault, it didnt cause this i know that) but im wondering if others have this issue i.e followed the advice, changed their mind but cant reinstall NMM. Its this particular scenario that prompts me to post here. If anyone can help where google and microsoft cant I would love to hear from you, Thank you. Oh! and all the flamers too, cant wait to hear from you
  6. I had this issue as well when i first installed Vortex just yesterday. Despite having a strong internet connection and decent speeds (for Australia, around 20mbps) my vortex downloads were between 0 (yes, zero) to only 40ish kbps. I went online to investigate and it seems to be a common issue with no solutions. Some people mentioned that there vortex experience started that way as well but improved. Anyway it was late so i shut down and went to bed, next day i fired up the beast and hey presto, full speed ahead. Only been two days but so far so good with the download speeds at least. I actually don't like using Vortex and want to go back to Nexus mod manager but can't, however thats another topic for a different forum i suspect.
