  1. Title What exactly might be causing this?
  2. As you can see in the screenshot below, I made this armor, it looks fine and all, but feels like something is missing. I wanted to look up tutorials on how to add a black shroud effect like the ebony armor to it but google searches only lead to video tutorials of how to get enchantments in game. Just wanted to ask a few tips on how to get started into attaching visual effects to weapon/armors, and further more, creating my own effects for use in skyrim. My sincere thanks to anyone that care enough to answer my stupid questions. You have my appreciation.
  3. I realized it had to have something to do with tangent since the 'has tangent' option was no and I changed it to yes Question is how though? Edit: It's fixed. Thanks!
  4. These three weapons have the exact same setting in nifskope yet the first one's cubemap is working, while the other two is not. I'm using the same cubemap for these three, so it can't be a problem with the cubemap. Any idea why?
  5. As you can see here this armor is very white and bright. I wanted to make a darker variant of this armor, changed the textures from RGB 172/172/172 to 25/25/25, but in nifskope it still looks like it's a very silver-ish color. I mean turning off the environment map shader does make the shine go away, but it also makes the armor looks like plastic without the reflections. What should I tweak here to make it look like this?
