  1. Something like this could be done. Dialogue branches about certain weapons, mod weapons (that are used with permission) Merchant sold Keys to locked doors that lead you straight to dungeons containing a particular weapon or even said special weapons sold by the Loremaster themselves. I don't think there are any Map like functions other than the vanilla one, so if one went the questing route, they would have to go follow a map marker, maybe use clairvoyance or something in addition to that. If you want, I'll work on it.

  8. Would this be possible? Basically, there is a wishlist or requests that fans make that can gain upvotes, then teams or modders can see this, and start an initiative by taking on the job, if they can crowd fund say $20. Just something to motivate modders to make specific stuff. I know there is the mod request section, but I don't think one exists with the finance dynamic. Not necessarily paid mods, just crowd funding for popular demands. Right now there are only people who want to mod because of their love for the game and the community, but there are always plenty of ideas that would be great that won't end up being done, like a skateboard or bike instead of a horse, with proper animations.
  9. Apologies if this is in the wrong thread - but I figured since it concerns the creation of mods, and getting help it would fit here. I propose that those that are interested (as well as myself) form a group with the goal of (after acquiring permission from the relevant parties) creating different variations of 28 Days & A Bit. I have a theory that instead of zombies, different factions can be spawned - giving the feel of a RTS like AOE where enemies would send enemy units to your base by the truckload. So we replace zombies with say, Falmer, or Stormcloaks, maybe if we get the proper permission we can have a Colonial British invasion. Would anyone be interested?
  10. If you create an NPC, disable their AI, and have their appearance be the same as say a wooden wall, is it theoretically possible to create destructible environments in Skyrim?
  11. In case you're wanting to fix the compile errors, you need to create the properties fadeToBlackImod and fadeToBlackHoldImod. They are of type ImageSpaceModifier. Then you can auto fill them in the fragment property window. Though if named properly they should auto fill when you create them. The guy in that video already had the properties created which is why when he pasted his code it didn't popup the errors. No need now, but thanks for taking the time to reply.

Which leads me to believe that the idea of video cut scenes seen in games such as KOTOR, FMV games etc. are possible in skyrim and possibly in more situations than just quest finishing. To me - the idea of starting a fight, and a small hype video plays of Skyrim Machinima showcasing the type of fighter your character is - to add some pomp and circumstance to the game is great. The potential for story telling for Mod Quest Makers will also increase ten-fold. Too bad I couldn't manage it but maybe someone out there will be able to produce some form of methodology that anyone can use. This would revolutionize things for sure. *Edit I found out that the 'Game.playbink ("insert bik video title here")' works. I put in my video of Carth Onasi talking to Atton Rand from KOTOR/II during the Lucan - Riverwood quest and it worked like a bloody charm. If I can find out how to input a skip-able video each time there is a fight let's say - then I'd really be cooking.
