  1. (RE: Fallout 4, Skyrim SE, etc) Question: If you have a plugin that you previously, manually, marked as light... then later, the mod author updates the plugin.... Do you have to re-mark the newer version of the plugin as light.... again?Or, does Vortex recognize that you previously marked it light, and re-mark it as light automatically for you after the new version is installed?----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If Vortex does not automatically mark previously marked plugins.... Feature request: If you have an existing plugin installed that was manually marked as light, when you update it (and the newer version is not marked as light by the plugin author)... Vortex will do it automatically.Ideally, when you download the newer version of the plugin, have Vortex check it, and if it still fits the criteria to be converted, go ahead and automatically do it (with a notification that it's done). If the new version does not fit the criteria, it warns you if it can't automatically mark it as light, gives you the reason, and the option to not install it on an existing save (if it will cause issues).
  2. Man, some of the complaining, and whiny posts here are just disgusting. (To them) you are coming across as an angry old man yelling at a cloud. https://ibb.co/rwkzhvF Seriously, 99% of the features most of you want are already in Vortex, but you appear to have one or more of the following problems: (A) You are too lazy to break (insert your mod organizer name here) muscle memory and really learn how to use Vortex. (B) Your are bitching for the sake of bitching simply because Vortex isn't (insert your mod organizer name here). © You are so set in your ways that you cannot see past the end of your nose and refuse to change. NMM, Mod Organizer 2, etc, etc are all still out there, and all still work with Nexus. If you do not like Vortex, just keep on using what you are using and spare the rest of us from your constant moaning, crying, complaining, bitching, whining, and overall negativity. Sincerely (everyone that does not want to hear your bullshit)
  3. "Are you sure you want to delete saves older than xx date?" ..... No
  4. Save Game Cleanup Options Add new column of check-boxes (one next to each save game), as well as a "delete all selected" button above them. Add configurable option to settings:Auto-delete saves older than # day(s) on start and/or close of Vortex. (# = however many days back you want to put in)
  5. 0.18.7 is still the same. It is just like it does not reach out to Nexus to check each mod to see if there is a new version of the mod(s). It starts, then stops seconds later showing nothing needed to be updated. Frustrating.
  6. Will give v0.18.7 a go this evening to see if that corrects it. Thank you.
  7. I am just going to wait for a future version of Vortex to get this resolved. I know for a fact that there are newer mods listed on Nexus versus what I have installed (Sim Settlements for example). This is a known problem already as listed on GitHub: https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Vortex/issues/4544 Multiple people here, and there have reported it.
  8. Just did as you suggested: Logged out of website. (And completely close Chrome)Logged out of VortexStarted Chrome, logged back into Nexus.Started Vortex, reauthorized.Same result. Still won't work. Is quite aggravating.
  9. First, let me state that I love Vortex. I fairly recently did a full OS reload on my machine, and decided to install it instead of NMM. Now for the issue: I upgraded Vortex from v0.17.11 to v0.18.6 Now when I do a "Check for Updated Mods", it starts the search... and finds nothing within seconds. Before (with v0.17.11), it would take approx 20-30 seconds before it completed searching for updated mods. There are newer versions of mods on Nexus versus what I have installed, but they do not show in Vortex as needing to be updated. It is like the Update function just stopped working all-together. I tried to downgrade to the following versions to see if it was just the latest version: v0.18.5v0.18.4v0.18.3v0.18.2v0.18.1All with no luck. I even tried to downgrade back to what I originally had (v0.17.11), and that is no longer working now either. So, now I am back to v0.18.6 and it still will not find updates for mods. Any suggestions? P.S. The logs show absolutely no errors.
