  1. Hi all, I couldn't find a solution for a little aesthetic issue I've been having for quite a while now that I've just ignored but it's slowly getting to me. Despite a complete dive into my ice, snow and glacial textures as well as those in the LOD and DynDOLOD folders (including gradually changing each a different colour to isolate it), I can't work out how to make this ridiculously bright contrasting glow in LOD disappear or at the very least be replaced with something more natural to the background. I might be nitpicking but it just looks awful. Enb darkens it somewhat but it still sticks out. I couldn't find any mods interfering with it so wasn't sure whether to post it here or in TS but is it possibly something to do with the alpha channel in the textures? If so which ones are they? Mod List - https://modwat.ch/u/TragicVision Anyway, I'm at a loss. Any suggestions? Cheers if anyone can help or has come across this before.
  2. Yay! That guide filled in the blanks so thanks man. Done it. Bit of a 'round the houses' effort but I've converted it finally with meat-caps and the animation is smoooooth. Now for the textures. BnB huh? Might be worth looking into. I tend to use smaller bodies.
  3. Thanks M48A5. I think I downloaded this on the 19th so I'll have to have another go at it. Same with the converted skeleton which is also on Nexus. It's just one tiny step I've missed or added and I can't think what it is. Cheers for the help though.
  4. Hello, I don't normally ask for help but I've been at this for a good two days now. Porting modded armour from Oblivion to a Fallout body; weighted, parented, the works. But it's been a while since I've used Blender and I can't think what I've missed. Here it is in game and with this particular try I deliberately missed out mesh parts when joining them all up for the bone weight copy to see what it would achieve. It's the closest I've got but still none the wiser. Please completely ignore the texture. I haven't even got round to fixing that in nifskope yet The legs animate perfectly, but the majority of the arms are stuck in the old Oblivion T-pose whilst the 'hidden' parts are sort of aligned with the fallout skeleton but 30 degrees off. If anyone has an inkling or just a nudge in the right direction from looking at it, I'll be much obliged and I can finally sleep. Cheers
  5. Thanks for your help. I'll see if anyone over there has come across this.
  6. Hmmm. nothing there works in terms of aspect ratio. Any help in why I can't customise an enb to this aspect level will be the end of, really. To try and make this clear - the enb forces itself into full screen. Not the resolution I want. The guides don't address that.
  7. It's due to a couple of things. You don't mention if you have Oblivion Reloaded installed but check your ini in your games/Oblivion folder You should have a line which says FOV=75 If it doesn't, change it and right click your ini as read only. If you have Oblivion Reloaded, go into Data/OBSE/Plugins/ Oblivion Reloaded and turn off 'Save Settings' to 0.
  8. Quick question if anyone can help. I normally have my resolution set at 1280x800 in other Bethesda games and shift/F12ing keeps the aspect ratio regardless. However, two enbs I've tried tanks it up to fullscreen. I've tried to fake border it, fake black bar it etc, but all it does is lop off the top and bottom of the display what was there originally there. In other words, the image is stretched when enb is turned on. Any way I can keep the aspect ratio I intended when enb is activated? I've looked and Googled my way into a frenzy for the last couple of days but I'm yet to find a solution. To give you an idea what I mean:- Enb - stretched (below) http://i64.tinypic.com/2wnd5s2.jpg No ENB - perfect aspect ratio (below) http://i63.tinypic.com/hsw5eh.jpg Is this something can't be avoided? Hope someone can help.
  9. I'm looking for a mod or ways to make the area look more alive. Being still water, I understand that flow won't solve my problem (ala Realistic Water 2) but it just looks so bland and always has. Seven years of modding and I still can't figure out how to make water look good despite trying out so many water mods and only Wonders of Weather makes a dent (through VW). I can edit the transparency but that makes it look like glass. I currently have Vivid Landscapes, Vivid Weathers, ELFX, parts of RLO, Purity and I've turned off ENB effects. Weather is currently on 81b in this photo to give you an idea. How do you make still water look good? I'm willing to give up the green if it helps.
  10. Hello.

Aliera Caine, the autor of Valenwood improved told me that you have a color map (or elven map ?) for this mod. Is it possible your share it,please ? Thank you

  11. Sorted it. *slaps head*. Thanks for all your help. It does indeed feel a lot snazzier
  12. Thank you very muchly. However, I think I'm creating more work for myself as it's failing to initialise and just coming up with the old CS
  13. Seems I'm stumped on this particular problem, although I'm very close. Hope someone can help All using CS Changing an NPC from vanilla Oblivion into a custom race is easy enough (Jensine into a cute elf, for example) And changing a mod introduced NPC into another vanilla race is fine also What I'm actually trying to do is change the race of a mod introduced NPC into a custom race So far I've managed to create duplicates as you would if you didn't select an active file accidentally deleting a mod NPC from the game Anyone have an ideas or previous experience that would help?
  14. The staring issue has happened to me in the past (outside Aleswell of all places). Although it seemed like a scripting issue at the time I waited 4 hours, clean saved and loaded back up and it never happened again. Is your character on the top floor (bedroom) and staring at the chandelier? I believe that's close to the central node of the cell. Think I've only ever seen one other case of this and not even sure it was resolved It would be interesting to see your load order (perhaps you use similar mods) and also if you've ever optimised your mesh folders (either for the Oblivion BSA or individual mods that correlate for the other problems, mind
  15. Might be a little late on this topic but is it the same exterior cell you're loading into or anywhere in Cyrodiil? Just wondering if it might be a bad spawn point at all
