  1. The Witcher 3! Ah, I see Vortex had a problem moving the download folder the first time! Tried after a reboot and it cleared up about 40 precious gigs on my C:\ drive! After moving both of them to the exact same drive, I see that it's no longer unpacking mods in roaming appdata off of C:\ ! Just as a note: both times I tried moving the download folder the progress bar doesn't even appear, and looks like the task has hung up. I just waited a REALLY long time and it eventually finished even though it looked like nothing was happening.
  2. So I found how to change the pathway so the mod staging folder isn't on my C: drive, and are my downloads. This is what I am going for. Yet when I install any mod though Vortex it still starts gobbling up what precious little space I have via C: drive while installing, even though I've changed all associated pathways in settings to D: drive. I notice when I look at tutorial videos about this problem, people say it's been fixed for them by following the instructions to alter the filepath but I'm assuming it's the "Deployment Method" dropdown menu that could be my problem (total shot in the dark here). In each tutorial "Hardlink Deployment" is the selected option but in Vortex I don't have any other option other than "Syslink Deployment". Is that why it's eating up space as a "temp location" to unpack and install the mod?
  3. So after my 10th freeze while trying to walk towards Jeans Skydiving, I finally decided to google search what was causing it... My search turned up: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:CYwC0Yal0CAJ:forums.nexusmods.com/index.php%3F/topic/419374-crashing-at-jean-sky-diving/+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us I'm also having the EXACT same errors as the guy in this thread. "Death Zones" for freezing include the Searchlight/Wolfhorn Ranch area (SO many NPCs), and now it's Jeans Skydiving. I had no clue this was load-order related, but that does make some sense since I cannot see anything conflicting when I run FNVEdit! I do have quite a few mods on at once, but they play just fine aside from wandering too close to said death-zones! Load Order (please note that though I do have a "Final Merge" patch I have shuffled around a very few mods in the order. Would that disrupt how the mods load and list exceptions?):
  4. I only recently updated some mods that incorporated BNB and use Sexout so I don't need body-replacers such as Breeze's/Diamond's, but the head-spinning is back. I don't remember how I fixed this last time... I did try searching, but most topics were inconclusive and no one has shed any insight on what causes this, how to fix/avoid it. Does anyone have experience with this bug? Edit: fixed. As per the other topic concerning this, More Perks had installed a "Documents folder". Deleting the folder may have fixed this as settings are saved there for some reason.
