  1. Title, basically. I know of mods that change incoming/outgoing damage numbers, but what I'm hoping to do is create a whole new option in the settings menu. Is that possible? I've never seen a mod that does such a thing, so I'm worried it might be hardcoded. Does anyone know anything about this?
  2. Have you had any luck with this? I'm interested in doing a similar thing, but looking at PipboyTabs only has me scratching my head even more.
  3. I could make that for you. It’s pretty simple. Do you want *all* the park zone music thrown into the Commonwealth, or just the tracks that play outside the park? Likewise, do you want the ambient music for the area around the Nucleus thrown in as well or just the rest? If you do want that Nucleus music, should it be limited to the Glowing Sea?
  4. So the other day I was browsing Nukapedia, when I remembered Fallout 76's "Chinese assault rifle" that never made it into the game. I was curious, and noted that it was just two modifications to the standard handmade rifle. I thought this was a good idea, since it adds customisation without the risk of cluttering the world with weapons (something I'm extremely cautious about when I download weapon mods). You can read an old reddit post about it here, along with some photos of the thing in action: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/cf2jp8/chinese_assault_rifle_barrel_and_stock_for/ Two more images are present on the wiki itself: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/d/d8/FO76_Chinese_assault_rifle_back.png/revision/latest?cb=20200912214816https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/7/7e/FO76_Chinese_assault_rifle.png/revision/latest?cb=20200831054552I thought it would be cool to bring this idea forward into Fallout 4, but I'm absolutely dreadful when it comes to designing meshes and textures. No matter how I try, it never comes out how I'd like, so I've accepted this as one of those things I just can't do. With that in mind, I was hoping there would be anyone out there who'd be willing to recreate 76's meshes and textures? Or at least, could point me in the right direction, since I'm super new to the modding scene and don't know who to speak to about it. As far as actual implementation goes, I've actually done pretty much the whole thing aside from creating the necessary meshes and textures. I've made the constructible mod items, given them effects (I thought having the barrel give a small bonus to Critical Hit chance would be a fun way to make it stand out), and also added functionality for the weapon's firing sounds to change if you apply the CAR barrelnote: see bottom. I've yet to set up a naming scheme for the mods though, but I think that's all that's left. Anyway, I think that's all there is to it, so thanks for reading, if you've made it this far! If you're interested in this idea, please get in touch with me either in PMs or in this thread - I'd love to hear from you! Regarding the sounds: For testing purposes, I'm using 76's Chinese assault rifle sounds, which also didn't make it into the game. Obviously, when it comes time to upload the finished product, I can't redistribute those files, so I'm going to replace those sounds with the standard handmade sounds and provide instructions on how to replace them, with the CAR sounds or otherwise. Here's a video I made a while ago demonstrating the sounds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YU0eDuSfV7o
