  3. like this? was pretty easy, and it seems to work... but I only changed the visible mesh not the collision mesh - that may cause problems but I am not sure... I have very limited experience with static meshes like this... Right now I am too lazy to set up a mod (Modders Resource) on the nexus... that takes up much more time than doing the changes... so if you want to beta test the mesh just send me a PM with an email adress so I can send you the .nif
  4. about the vertices... I guess that depends (how many other models are in the location and so on)... I never tested this myself, but I think lower end machines might get problems...you should just try it... If you rely on NifSkope only, I would try to get another model - a simpler one with a working UV...
  5. ...open your nif and select the NiTriShapeData Block of the NiTriShape you want to edit... then go down to the BlockDetails and change the BS Num UV Sets Value from 0 to 4097, save and reload... after that textures will be displayed but the UV Map is broken... also the model seems to be to detailed -> 60000 vertices for the whole model -> Alduin is about 9500 vertices...
