  1. Does anyone know what armor mods are used in these pictures? This This - 1st and 7th from the left
  2. I get the obvious things like linking to pirated content and pornographic images. But I'm asking more for things like "what armor is that", "oh I got it from (website link). Places like modders blogs, japanese mod sites, etc.
  3. Is there a banlist posted somewhere? It would be nice to know what websites other than the one being talked about here are not okay to link to.
  4. I'm making some installers for a few of my mods and I've run into something that's not really covered in the NMM Installer Tutorial. I've gotten the basic "Do you have (DLC Name)? yes/no" option down, but I'm not sure how to add branches to this. Say I have 4 variations of the same mod. 2 that require DG and two that don't, but within each of those two options I have a red option and a blue option. What would I need to add to the xml to allow the fomod to recognize this process? Would the folder structure be like this? 00 - Dawnguard (only contains an esp and meshes) 01 - Vanilla (only contains an esp and meshes) 02 - Red Option (only contains red textures) 03 - Blue Option (only contains blue textures) Or since the meshes are the same for all versions should I just add a core folder at 00 with only the meshes inside? 00 - Core (meshes) 01 - Dawnguard (esp) 02 - Vanilla (esp) 03 - Red Option (red textures) 04 - Blue Option (blue textures) Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Thanks for the replies everyone. Just to touch on a few things here: -No enb is present, not even enboost. The common/skyrim/data folder is in vanilla state -Skyrim has been uninstalled/reinstalled twice and the problem still persists. -The problem persists with activated with MO, skse loader, skyrim launcher, and tesv.exe -The mannequin issues were solved by not using NordRace for him, now the mannequin is perfect. Yes he was from my mod I was testing via MO, which is when I noticed the issues with my character having the same problem. -There are no saves involved, it's just a simple coc riverwood. The problem actually vanishes when I console showracemenu. -MO's overwrite folder has tes5edit backups and that's it. But this only becomes an issue when using MO to launch the game. Since tesv.exe doesn't look for an overwrite folder whatsoever, it has as much impact on the game as a jpeg when launched with skse, launcher, or the exe outside of MO. Thanks for that link. :) There are no facegen files in my skyrim/data folder. I tried deleting shadersfx because someone on step mentioned having this same issue and deleting that folder fixed it. I tried deleting LSdata as well, both didn't stop the problem. When I ride the cart all the way through and I get to the character creation menu, the problem is not there. When I use showracemenu after I coc riverwood I literally watch the face return to normal before my eyes. It's the oddest thing. I'm starting to think this might be an Nvidia issue or something. I don't know for sure, I just know it's a mystery. Honestly the only thing that really bothered me was the mannequin, but I fixed that. So the issue is still with NordRace for some reason, but only the PC and not any other NPC's. I appreciate everyone's replies and suggestions. If anyone has more ideas or thoughts I would be more than happy to test them to see if the solution works for any other users that might have this issue.
  6. I downloaded a follower mod that comes with it's own meshes and textures and all of the textures are located in a textures/actors/character/follower name directory. My question is if the body_0 and body_1 nifs point to different texture paths in the BSShaderTextureSet (actors / character / gender folder / body textures.dds) how does the followers mesh know to use the textures included in the follower? Found my answer in the esp, sorry about that ;D On a side note, does it matter if the texture path is skyrim/data/textures/actors etc or do variations work too? Like: data\textures\actors textures\actors actors\
  7. The problem for the player gets solved by activating showracemenu, and vanilla textures appear magically. The reason I'm trying to figure out the actual cause is because it affects a custom mannequin I made based on a follower as well. The follower comes with its own textures and works perfectly on it's own. I've sent the mannequin off for testing on another system to see if the discoloration appears there as well. I've double and triple checked the nifs for the correct paths and everything looks to be correct. I have a feeling the problem lies somewhere in my system.
  8. I started noticing this issue two days ago. This photo was taken with a freshly installed, pure vanilla install. I honestly can't say how long I've had this issue because I never use vanilla male nord. I only noticed this because I was testing a mod and noticed a male nord mannequin with the same issue. I randomly switched to third person and noticed the E3 nord had the same issue. From what I have gathered in my game, this is only noticeable on the E3 male nord that's made when you coc from the main menu and mannequins changed to NordRace. It affects no other npc's and it is corrected when I use showracemenu. But only on my PC and not the NordRace mannequin (not in cell). About the fresh installation: About my testing: About my rig: I have searched the net for a solution to no avail. Can anyone with graphics knowledge proved any details as to why this is happening to only my PC and a single NordRace mannequin?
  9. I have the same issue, though I'm pretty sure it's related to the problems with the site at the moment. I've tried different version all the way up to 0.54.10 and all of them give me that error. You'll get that same error if you check all for updates and query info. For now I'd recommend just downloading them manually, then shove them in your downloads folder. Then once it's fixed just query info before you install them.
  10. You're officially my new favorite person on the planet. :D I can confirm that Dye Incorporated - Camo Weapons is working for me. But Conjure Revenant of Mara is still redirecting.
  11. At this point if the CDN servers haven't fixed themselves, I don't think they're going to.. I think the downloads that are redirecting are going to stay broken for us until the authors update them.
  12. Maybe a member of the staff could send a pm to authors of the affected mods and ask them to attempt to re-upload the mod to try to resolve the issue for the users. I notice a lot of "It works for me so the problem is you" mentality with some of the affected uploads.
  13. I personally feel the mod is perfect as you described it. The only suggestion I would have is the name. When I saw GCO I instantly though of GDO (Guard Dialogue Overhaul). Maybe name it Diversified Guards In Skyrim [DGIS], or maybe Organized Guards In Skyrim [OGIS], something like that. OBIS is familiar to (almost)everyone and to me it just seems fitting to keep the four letter acronym style that has made OBIS so familiar. Just my two cents. Can't wait until this is released
  14. On my end (East Coast USA) my issues seem to come from mods uploaded on the 17th. The issues disappears with mods uploaded after that, or if the problem mods are simply re-uploaded/updated. I've done my best to encourage re-uploads (as this fixes the issue for me), so at this point I guess it's just a waiting game.
