  1. Shortly after Sheson announced his miracle patch, there were patched SKSE DLLs available for download, or code to modify SKSE if you had the capability to rebuild it. After that, a mod called SSME was released on Nexus that implemented Sheson's patch without the need to download a new dll. At this point the best bet, IMHO, is to simply install SKSE 1.7, which, although not officially released yet, has been working perfectly for me for months. SKSE 1.7 includes Sheson's fix, and does not require the GiveFirstBornToSheson ini change. The changes Sheson made to the memory block sizes are the defaults for SKSE 1.7, although you can make ini changes to skse.ini to fine tune them if for some reason you need to.
  2. It's probably overkill for what you want, but AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks) has an option to make followers only wear helmets in combat.
  3. Yes, unless you use HDT. I used the Natural Breast Animation mod for quite a while until I discovered HDT, which is what I'm using now. If you're new to installing mods I'd recommend using either the TBBP or Natural Breast Animation mods. If you're interested in HDT, I got it from a site that I don't think I'm allow to link to from here, so try googling it.
  4. I've got an i7-4930MX 3.1 GHz and an nVidia GeForce GTX 780M. At 1920x1200, running around outside Whiterun I'm getting FPS in the high 30s, sometimes a little over 40. Interiors are giving me FPS in the high 40s to mid 50s. I'm using quite a few texture mods.
  5. Does "360 Walk and Run Plus" do what you want? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34508/?
  6. And in case you don't know the memory config lines in SKSE.ini, they look like this: [Memory] DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 ScrapHeapSizeMB=256
  7. I have not tried MO, but I cannot play without Apocalypse.
  8. I'm a complete noob and don't know anything about animating, so if I'm insulting your intelligence please forgive me. But that video looks exactly like what I get when I install a new animation mod and then forget to run a FNIS update.
  9. Re: Backpack mods. This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it might be enough to serve your needs, or serve as a starting point for a new mod. The Lustmord Vampire armor (here on Nexus) has an equipable garter that serves as a container with its own inventory. It has a power/shout that you can use to open it and exchange items with your own inventory.
  10. It sounds to me that you, my friend, have the persistence and patience of Saint Jiub. Except trees, not cliff racers.
  11. Sorry, I don't know the mod you're looking for. But if you don't get an answer here, you might try posting in the "Mod Detectives" thread that is pinned near the top of the Mod Talk forum. That thread is intended for questions like "what armor is that" or "what mod does that".
  12. Thank you @vishiousx, Take Notes was indeed the mod I was looking for!
  13. I'm about to start a new playthrough and am thus updating my mods. I know I've seen a recent reference to this mod, but (my failing memory being what it is) I can't find it on the Nexus despite searching it and looking through categories I thought it would fit in. Anyway, it was a mod that allowed the play to keep a log or diary of what their PC experienced. Can anyone help? Thanks.
  14. If I recall correctly, Amazing Follower Tweak (AFT) has a no friendly fire setting.
  15. I don't know what mod you're referring to, but the latest version of SkyUI has the ability to let you define equipment groups, which can include complete outfit sets, and let you switch between them with one keystoke.
