  1. So it's taken me a long time to port my custom made followers over to SSE - there was nothing extravagent about them; eyes from Eyes of Beauty mod, hair from KS Hairdos. When I ported it at first, got the awful bug of having just the head shape appear and nothing else. Decided to use Ousnius' awesome Nif Optimizer tool, and once I checked out my npcs in game it worked really well! But they still don't have eyes, and I've checked all the meshes, and know about updating the nitrishapedata information for Vector Flags to have Has_Tangents, but whether I edit the meshes before or after the Nif optimizer conversion (or even without a conversion at all, just using the tangent fix) I still have no eyes appearing for any of the custom npc characters I've made. I've tried looking up a way to troubleshoot this on my own, but have so far found nothing. Any help or suggestions at this point is highly appreciated!
  2. The part that bothers me the most about all this is that the modding community thought that they had made their point when they argued over the many issues posed with making mods pay to play, and now they are using console players to make money off of modders work anyway - by advertising this special edition to new console players who will finally get to play Skyrim with mods and cash out for a new version. I am a console player turned PC player because of the amazing PC mods I found here on Nexus, and I feel like this change of events is a slap in the face to the PC community, and to players in general. "Want skyrim to not look like s#*!? Here's some subpar enb-ish graphic enhancements for you, and oh - download everyone's mods for free and get the mods that make the real difference to the game! Just for you console ps4/xbox players - buy the special version now! Only 79.99!" The lions share of the 'remastering' will already have been done by the mod authors themselves. including essential bugfixes, and none of that new cashflow will ever be going to anyone else but to Bethesda. They could care less who the mod authors are; in the end, they just want new cashflow for Skyrim, and they've found a way without having to compensate mod authors for anything.
  3. In response to post #27527754. #27527929, #27528174, #27528204, #27528784, #27529469, #27530964, #27533204 are all replies on the same post. Maybe some female modders got tired of browsing through all the excessive t&a mods; there seemed to be more female modders but I think a lot left in the past year. For a woman to come onto this site and see nothing but high def asses and tits, she can easily just leave and look for mods elsewhere. I've recommended friends before and they've commented how the site 'looks like a skyrim pornsite' when I sent them to the front page. It would be nice to see an upgrade.
  4. I know there are no bad questions, but I do feel sort of silly for asking this. How does one create a pinned post on your mod? I can't seem to find an option for that... Any help is appreciated. :)
  5. I've read this whole thread and have suffered all the same problems as all of you, but after rolling back the drivers didn't help I uninstalled the geforce experience. I'm STILL having the same problem, in fact I can't even get skyrim to start at all and I've run out of solutions other than falling back to an old enb and waiting for some sort of update from either boris or nvidia ...
  6. OK, I read through a million of these and nothing worked, EXCEPT FOR ONE THING. IF YOU HAVE ANY TEXTURE MODS FOR THE FACE ON THERE WILL BE THE FOREHEAD MAKEUP BUG. Say for example, I have CBBE installed with SG textures for the face and body --- I temporarily uninstalled my SG textures in NMM and started my mod in the CK again and now all the faces look NORMAL! HUZZAH! Then just Ctrl+F4 as normal! I hope this works for you guys!!
  7. So I don't know what's wrong with my system. It seems pretty decked out to handle anything, but everytime I use an enb I get 8 fps and I can barely move. I can run a million other mods on ultra with high res textures, but anytime I run any enb, even the 'fps friendly' ones, I can barely play the game. My computer specs are: Nvidia Quadro 2000 (4G Vram) Intel® Xeon® CPU E31270 @ 3.40 GHz 20 GB ram Is it my quadro card? I know that some games can run really really well on this card even though it's made more for CAD use, but I suppose maybe skyrim isn't one of those games?? Also I read that there are some settings I can put in for my enblocal that will make it run better, but so far everything I've tried has been the same. This is what I have put in: ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true DisableDriverMemoryManager=true DisablePreloadToVRAM=false ReservedMemorySizeMb=512 EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false VideoMemorySizeMb=0 Someone please help? I really want to use an enb. :C
