  1. I meant 'Mass' uninstall. Sorry for the typo. NMM had a feature where you could uninstall all mods at once with a click. Does Vortex have a similar function? I have tried the 'purge' button, but the mods are not really 'uninstalled;' as soon as you deploy they are right back where you were. I know you can mass disable mods by using ctrl and clicking on the mods, but can you completely uninstall mass numbers of mods or do you have to uninstall one by one?
  2. Please help! I am lost as to how NPC changes such as Bijin, Men of Winter, and Pandorables need to be installed. I use Vortex, and I always wind up with black face bugs. Here's the kicker, though... Bijin Wives is working perfectly, but Warmaidens isn't; Men of Winter works until i try to use Skysight skins; and I tried to use K's Faendal by itself and got blackface as well. I used Total Character Makeover as a base, and UNP and Skysight for bodies. Can someone help me with the correct steps to prevent blackface and get TCM, Bijin, MOW, UNP, Skysight, and K's Faendal to play nice? And if they're incompatible, please give me siggestions as to what to use for a base, body, and face&hair mods. Thank you in advance, guys! I have turned off most of my NPC mods and just been using vanilla NPCs for now. But they are so ugly!   4. Hi, on my plugins pane in Vortex, all my table headers are smooshed over to the right side of the screen. I can't even see the settings cog, and I notice that there is no width adjustment that I can find. Could someone please explain to me how to reset the table headers so that all of them, and the cog, can be seen? Thanks in advance! K.

Okay, I've put images of my downloads screen and my plugins screen in my nexus account. click on these to see: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/44847 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/44846 As you can see, all mods show enabled, but nothing from Vortex is transferrring to the plugins! So How do I get from deploying the mods to enabling the modsw to having them in my plugins? this is what is frustrating me.
  6. OK this is weird-- I hit deploy after ensuring that the path is correct, and it brings up all my files and says they are redundant. I do not disable them, and finish the deployment. I know it is seeing the mods for my entire list comes up redundant. Ctrl-A will not bring up anything... all mods show enabled, but on the plugins screen the only plugins that show up are ther Skyrim and DLC plugins. What is keeping Vortex from deploying these mods and populating my plugin list?
  7. I know I am late to the party, but i have the same situation. I accidentally hit purge-- My Data file was wiped clean of all vortex-installed mods. Tannin42-- if deploy reverses the effect of the purge button, what source of data does the deploy button pull from, since the data folder has been wiped clean? Is the a backup file that deploy pulls from?
  8. I have decided not to use FNIS and just use standard animations. So FNIS isn't a culprit. 1ae0bfb8-- Unfortunately, I believe I purged my data file under the assumption thaty Vortex created a backup for reinstall. If so, Great! How do I install the back up? If not, I guess my only choice is to spend another 18 hours rte-downloading the mods. (Maybe I can find most of them in my downloads folder-- just had that thought. ) The only LE mods I downloaded were graphic mods , no animations, no BSA (with the exception of one, which I unpacked, added the textures and meshes to my mod folder, and deleted the BSA)... But I did notice a... BSL file, I think it was? NIF files were scarce, and I believe I converted them all correctly... I'm beginning to think you are right, rmm200. Since it looks like I have to re-download everything, I will pay extra attention to any LE mods that require BSA unpacking, NIF conversion, etc. But now a new question... Does the purge have a purpose other than comnpletely cleaning out the data file? and (I PRAY) is there a backup of my mods anywhere?
  9. OK, it's mod-related. By disabling all mods, the game works from both the launcher and the SKSE launcher. Lord, this is going to suck trying to find the crap mod. Edit: Okay, so I went to enable all mos, and was planning to disable them 1 at a time. All mods show enabled (according to the screen brought up by the wrench tool to the left of the window) but when I tab onto the plugins screen (with the plus sign) it only shows a handful of plugins enabled. This is so frustrating. Did I permanently delete my mods when i disabled all them? Edit 2-- OMG I just checked my data folder-- all my mods are gone. Damn this learning curve. is there ANY way to restore my mods?????
  10. OK, before I really mess up, when I try to disable my entire modlist, I get an "External Changes" window. It says save or revert and talks about deleting links permanently if saved-- but tthat list is my entire mod list-- What now? I have a screen shot but I don't think I can post it here...
  11. First things first-- I had a bad insulin reaction yesterday, and I was not the most pleasant of people. I am truly sorry for my words yesterday-- that is not me. rmm200 and 1ae0bfb8, you weren't deserving of my bile, and I'm sorry I made you my target. I'm a bear when my blood sugar is low. Secondly, I tried to faithfully follow Juanton's modding guide, and it does add some LE mods. I assumed, however, that since they were in his guide and he didn't state that they needed any conversion (Amidianborn Book of Silence mods were one, and I don't believe they need any conversion, do they?) that they would be safe to install in an SE setup. As far as SKSE64 is concerned, I have the latest stable version (runtime 1.5.73) and as of Monday evening, everything was hunky-dory. All SKSE-dependent mods are up to date, as there have been no SKSE64 changes in a while. Still, the fact remains that, even this morning, SSE will not start, either through SKSE or the skyrim launcher, whether launched from inside Vortex or not. I am not getting a CTD, though... when I launch, SKSE brings up a sys command page for about half a second and then disappears, as usual. then, nothing. If I launch via the Skyrim Launcher, I just get nothing. Something is killing the launch before it even starts, and I have no clue as to what. i'm not a noob at modding, I have been modding Skyrim ever since Tytannis put the first mod up... but I am stymied. Now as far as disabling mods... NMM had a command that would disable all mods at once; does Vortex have a similar command? I have spent DAYS working on my mod order, and as I stated, until Yesterday morning, everything was great... I started the game after every section of added mods, moved around the map, tried to stress my computer, but everything was good. I guess I will try to disable mods from the last section now. I REALLY don't want to disable 400+ mods and re-enable one at a time... Is there a way to see in Vortex what mods were enabled last? If I could disable 5-10 from the end of my install order then hopefully I can find a problem mod fairly quickly.

(No.)" If anyone (other than Snarky McSnarkle) has any idea as to why my SKSE64 has stoped working, or any ideas on steps (other than the basic rudiments) that I could try, please let me know. I am currently re-downloading Skrim SE to see if some how the file was corrupted. And yes, I had already validated my game files, and no, that did not solve the issue.
