For Fallout 76 there are more mods packed like that, for glowing with different colors, etc. Yes, it will be nice if the mod will be packed better way, but. So I thought Vortex can have an option where you mark only files you want to use and it will deploy it without folders, or with them if you mark them. But I'm not sure if it's possible. I didn't mean necessarily part of the mod, but if the zip file contains more mods, or one mod with additional files/add-ons.

Thanks, I thought I download the zip remove what I don't want, or create new zip with what I want and drop it to Vortex, as you said. But I didn't use Vortex for longer time, so I was curious if I'm missing something. So the short answer to my question is NO. I'll try to make a feature request on github.

Hi, is there a way to install only a part of the mod (zip file)? Specifically Glowing Items for Fallout 76 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout76/mods/102 It has a lot options for items and colors, can I only choose some of them in Vortex?

Yes, I have upgraded Vortex from older versions. I updated few mods as I wrote in my post (via button on nexusmods web, ...) and then there was another update and the error is still there. But, probably, I did not install any new mod since the new version of Vortex.

Hi, I can´t update Fallout 4 mods via Vortex, I check for updates, sort by version update available, then I press the download button and after a second I have an error: Unknown download Sorry, I was unable to identify the archive this mod was installed from. Please reinstall by installing the file from the downloads tab. In the downloads tab, the file has ??? size and progress is Failed. When I check folder where are my downloads (d:\Vortex\Downloads\fallout4\) the file is there, but it has 0B. The only way for me is go to nexusmods and press the Mod manager download, then it downloads and updates the mod. Vortex v0.16.12 default, not the custom install location, file. Thank you for your reply, now I´ve got it. When I copy/paste the name a small window rolled up and there I had to choose the mod name, I was thinking it is only options which I had tried, like when you type somewhere your name and the browser shows you all remembered options :)

I´m trying to upload a translation for Fallout 4 mod, but I can´t pass the first step page "Mod details", I don´t know what to enter in "Original file your mod is a translation of" field.I tried to enter the name of the original mod, link to the mod page, link to the downloaded file, name of the esp file, ....But always I got this message: Please help :)
