Open container/search corpse slowdown lag stutter for several seconds. This is a common bug when opening containers or loading new areas, looting or searching corpses. The cause of this slowdown is due to third party graphic software. Uninstalling software such as ASUS SmartDoctor and ASUS Gamer OSD will resolve this issue. This works for a lot of other games such as Fallout 3 and also World of Warcraft where you get a hefty camera lag. If you update graphics software this issue will be temporarily solved until you next reboot but it will remain. This took me several days to figure out and I simply wish to share this revelation to my fellow gamers! Best Regards Nick

I have solved this issue. A common bug is a slowdown when opening containers or loading new areas, looting or searching corpses. The cause of this slowdown is due to third party graphic software. Uninstalling software such as ASUS SmartDoctor and ASUS Gamer OSD will resolve this issue. Took me several days to solve this issue. It also fixes stutter in World of Warcraft and slowdowns in other games Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas included. It does not happen in Windows XP, just in Windows 7 and Vista. Best Regards
