  3. Sorry guys, I couldn't resist to use that line as title^^. However I have a serious problem: I like to give a special npc in a mod I working currently on a squirrel next to her (the squirrel seems to base on a vanilla hare) but the squirrel is running all over the place and is ignoring its X marker heading. Does someone know here why? Ah and where I am at this topic... Does someone know how to restrict for certain npcs certain areas. I have as example rats in one area of a town but I wouldn't like that they come over to the other part of the town. If someone could help me with those 2 questions it would be much appreciated!

  5. Many thanks. That worked! I am so happy now! With my mod I try to rebuild parts of World of Warcraft and those cranes are thought for the dwarf district of Stormwind and the Deadmines! (hope you know the game so that I don't talk gibberish here xD) My Chunkmerge version is v.0.155.0595. I usually work with nif optimizer before and after I worked with Chunkmerge to have files ready for the CK. It works now but usually I go the way from Hanaisse. That said, the 3d modeler seems sometimes made his 3d models with different tools, options, whatever, because usually I run not in problems like this with the method froom Hanaisse (aka. Outfit Studio import obj, export nif, chunkmerge everything and then choose the .dds paths and then put the models in the ck^^.). Anyways. Thanks for your answer^^. And here is a screenshot of everything working as intended with a testchar from me:
  6. As you can see do the collisions not work in the game. I should not be able to stand inside the crane and I should be able to jump on those tree trunks. I could have shown more screenshots but the forum allows only 5 per posting. Would you or anyone here like to see something specific? I could maybe show it to you.
  7. Rejoiced too soon. The models work now so far and I can see them in the game and in the ck without CTD's but the collisions doesn't work for whatever reason. It is already late where I live but if someone would know what could it be, I would be happy. The only bug (maybe) I see is that there is no "1bhkCompressedMeshShapeData". I made it like Hanaisse said.

  9. Hello guys! I have almost no 3D model skills but a friend of mine makes sometimes models for a mod from me. His actual models are a bunch of cranes and/or part for cranes but I can't make them work as by the models before (they are planned to be static objects so no moving parts). I tried everything to make it happen but always when I import the obj files into Outfit Studio and then look at them in Nifskope I see only what you see on the example screenshot. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with those models? If I go over them later with Chuckmerge, the CK crashes after I trie to put them in the world (or alternativly I can put them in the world but I can't pick them up and turn them, or make them bigger etc.). Also if I am honest, so desperate what I am I would be more as grateful if someone could do this for me. You would also be named in the credits of my upcoming mod (dlc size) Azeroth Reborn.
  10. Atm. there are no plans to give any location a different name. However, I don't think that is a problem. I also heard location the name "Stormwind" a few weeks ago in a Let's Play of a different game, movie or whatever. I don't know it anymore just that it wasen't World of Warcraft but thank you for your concerns. Really. I was already thinking about that as I had taken the mantle up to develop the mod further and I just hope that it is enough to use no Blizzard Assets. The texts in the game will also be completley custom written and not come from the original game, or even wikis about World of Warcraft. First I had let a AI wrote those texts (because I feel a bit insecure with english since I am not a native english speaker) but with a bit of luck, a real story writer will look over those texts and give them a more human touch.
  11. Hey guys. By all love for politics please stay a bit at the topic. Btw. what the legal site of the mod matters so I think that this mod has a real chance, since I haven't use any Blizzard assets. I know that there was a guy before me who tried the same as me and he used original assets from World of Warcraft (far as I have read) but that I haven't. All 3d models are either Bethesda assets or made by a 3d modeler extra for this mod, or were free to use on Skyrim SE NexusMods. World of Warcraft audio files are also not in use so... I think everything should be ok so far.
  12. The mod will be playable in Skyrim which means it will on the creation engine. The lines are a bit flowing between my and the unreal 5 mod but I can say that the mod uses atm. mostly bethesda assets that are re-colored. Like houses with red roofs in Stormwind as example for the Old Town district. That said, a few unique models will be in the mod like a moonwell in the park district of Stormwind, or a special Troll statute in Zul Gurub in Stranglethorn Vale. At the moment we are 2. Me and a friendly 3d modeler who sometimes throws some new models to me but maybe we are in the future 3 to 4. 1 new guys seems to be very interested for helping at lore and story stuff. I will see if he writes back and another one helps maybe by new races like a real troll, or tauren race as example but that is not sure yet. The major goal atm. is to bring this mod out. So don't expect to see too many fresh 3d models because that would ate time as nothing else. Besides that... For me as a World of Warcraft player who had his high time from the ... I believe ... end of classic to almost the end of Wrath of the Lichking (I still log in WoW sometimes, but I don't really play it anymore - its then more for nostalgica and for the mod) has this mod really a very good World of Warcraft feeling. Especially Stormwind, the Elwynn Forest, Westfall and Stranglethorn Vale. At the moment I can only repeat myself and say that I hope that everyone will enjoy this mod. The role models for this mod are more mods like Seaworld, or the Aether suite - just with enemies. Quests are not that much planned atm. but expect to have your nostalgica, explorer and fighting experience in this mod.
  13. Thank you Tenz81. I hope you like the mod (expansion) after it had came out. Atm. Stormwind, the Elwynn Forest, Redrige Mountains, Duskwood, Deadwind Pass, Swamps of Sorrows, Blasted Lands, Westfall and Stranglethorn Valley will be in the release version. Maybe I expand the mod afterwards even more but I am not sure about that at the moment.
  14. Hello guys! With this forum thread I like to announce my actual modding project to the public. I worked several years on a remake and an enlargement of a old Skyrim mod called "Azeroth in Skyrim - A unofficial Warcraft expansion". As the name implies is this a mod that tries to bring parts of World of Warcraft to Skyrim. The landmass is very huge. Expect by release a landmass from 50 - 70 % of Skyrim. If quests ever will be there is not sure yet but you have for sure a lot to explore on your way from Stormwind, down to Booty Bay! ... And also there will be enemies along the way. Not only humans, or orcs, or enemies you know maybe already from Skyrim - also farley new ones. The mod is finally in a stage were I can say that a release could be happen in the next months to a year and for everyone who is interested have I a Discord link: https://discord.gg/EZWwKsPyn3 The Discord server is farly new so don't expect to see many people there but I hope postings like this will change this! However... the best news about updates for Azeroth Rebon - most of the time in a weekly bases - will you become there!
