  1. I took a couple years break from modding and recently returned to the Nexus weeks ago. Love the new design (although it doesn't stray very far from the way it used to be). I was floored to see the wealth of search options available when you're viewing lists of mods, but it baffles me how this feature remains missing from the tracked mods page. I've marked several mods to track recently, then I go to the page and now have to wade through 40-something pages worth of mods to find one that I barely remember the name of. Makes no sense at all unless you're fishing for clicks. Please, for the love of god give us a way to run even basic search queries across our Tracked mods list.
  2. Thanks for helping us dumb, illiterate and ignorant mod users...
  3. I experienced this same issue last week; the Barbarian Armor and some fur hoods (both from the aMidianBorn Book of Silence pack I believe) were invisible. Turns out I had accidentally deleted the BSA or the textures for them Re-downloading/reinstalling it fixed the issue. Hope this helps.
  4. For those that come across this, I believe I found the culprit: In enblocal.ini the parameter "UseDefferedRendering" was set to true. Toggling it to false fixed the issue for me. For some reason with TrueVision ENB it's set to "True" by default. I've been testing using a generic modding program to manage ENB swapping and I think somehow the enblocal.ini file got duplicated into another ENB preset, causing the error again for that one as well. *whew*
  5. Are you running ENB too? Because i'm currently experiencing the same thing except it's only with ENB installed/turned on...
  6. Hopefully ya'll could help me figure out a small issue? For some odd reason when I install ENB and load up my game objects are missing from the game world, mainly eyeballs, but other textures/objects also. Basically they're not being rendered properly, because they're there (I can see the objects during loading screen when I turned ignore load screen on, but they're missing with ENB turned on) Funny thing is, I actually fixed it with one ENB after messing around with some setting in both the enblocal.ini and the skyrimprefs.ini files, but I have no idea what fixed it (it may have been something else entirely), and after switching to an older ENB preset the issue returned. Does anyone know about this? I'd like to know what causes this...probably something really simple
  7. Are you getting CTD with the ENB installed, or is the ENB just not working? I dunno, maybe you should check the actual parameters in the enbseries.ini and other files, the effect might be toggled off, or perhaps referencing some resource that has changed since you re-imaged your system
  8. I'm beginning to think this is an issue with the latest version of NMM I started experiencing something similar after updating I would check all my mods in the LO and then use BUM to run BOSS, but I started noticing my mods would get magically deactivated after running BOSS. If I left NMM up while running BOSS the mods wouldn't change visually, but still wouldn't load. Only war around it was to manually check each mod in NMM and then launch TES without running BOSS Reading more and more funny issues with NMM and the latest version of S.T.E.P recommends against using it to maintain your mods
  9. Uninstalled/Reinstalled Skyrim Fresh vanilla copy and I STILL have the sound issue Is this a bug with the original game? "Any help would be hot"....
  10. Do you have any other graphics altering engines running, like SweetFX or HiAlgo?
  11. Judging from your screenshot it looks like too much clouds (you can see little parts of blue sky here and there) I'd assume if the sky was actually "blown out" with bright sunlight then the ground would also be over blown, but I could be wrong.
  12. Hey guys, I'm new to the mod scene so please bare with me. I have an issue where I don't hear any sound at all in these instances: -sheathing or unsheathing my weapons -when I have a single hand weapon equipped and try to swing in the air -when I draw my bow and fire an arrow -no archery sounds whatsoever Audio FX mods I previously installed are: -Better Weapon Swing Sounds - BWS v1_1 -Clanking Armor -Crisp Archery Sound Effects -Smooth blade draw and Sheathe - Smooth draw and Sheathe sfx **I UNINSTALLED ALL MY MODS AND THE AUDIO IS STILL MESSED UP** *EDIT: I ALSO REMOVED BOTH .INI FILES AND USED THE LAUNCHER TO REGENERATE THEM The only change I got was that when I'd swing in the air I'd hear a sound like I was hitting a wall! I tried to manully find the data from my backup of a fresh install of TES but there isn't even a "sound" folder in the Data folder Is there a way to restore the default audio FX without uninstalling/reinstalling everything?? Please, any help would be highly appreciated. I already looked in the standard "start here" and FAQ threads beforehand, and I ran multiple searches for issues like this but didn't come across much.
