  1. Thank you so much for mentioning Enhanced Skyrim Factions: Companions. I recently installed it for a new playthrough and I couldn't for the love of god understand why almost all the major npc's in the companions had face bugs, because it used to work before. Except Aela of course, she's bugged from the start, but like Farkas/Vilkas etc those used to work. Now I know why, again thank you!
  2. I'm trying to edit an already existing animation in 3dsmax. I have no knowledge of 3dsmax and I've watched every tutorial I can on the topic, the topic being "how to cut frames" and then "export the animation to Skyrim". What I want to do is to just shorten down an already existing animation. I have converted .hkx files to kf, gotten them into 3dsmax, tried editing them (and failed), was successful in exporting them as .kf files and then converting them back to hkx again. My edited animations do not behave like they should. I'm trying to edit a few power attack animations. The problems: 1. my character performs the whole animation even though I've cut down most of the frames 2. my character performs the animation, but not as any type of attack. the animation is happening but he is just holding the sword, not swinging it like it was part of the animation. Could someone help me out with this, or is there a place I can request help? I'm not a modder, and to be honest I feel like I've bit off more than I can chew with this task.

  4. I just downloaded one of GomaPudding's follower mods. It's a follower with very custom ninja-like moves. I downloaded this mod to access those animation files as I want to use them on my own character. I'm not a modder or anything but I can rename hkx files (wow amazing), extremely basic stuff. However with this mod I ran into a weird problem. The 1hm_unequip.hkx animation is acting up. when i choose this animation in PCEA2 my character can no longer sprint or jump unless I equip the weapon. if i run and sheathe my weapon my character's weapon will not be sheathed, so i have to stand still to use the 1hm_unequip.hkx animation properly, I'm fine with that. however now I can't sprint or jump.. Actually all of the files except 1hm_attackpower.hkx and 1hm_attackpowerfwd.hkx do not work. This follower mod does come with scripts, but still the animation should work right? How do I fix the unequip animation, I really want to use it. The follower and mod is scripted, I've activated the mod (esp plugin) and the scripts to see if that somehow changed how my character uses the animations. it did nothing. Is there a way to make those scripts apply to me? I have no knowledge of scripts so I'm kinda lost here. Would appreciate any help, thanks in advance. According to some comments under one of the mod author's (GomaPudding) videos showcasing the mod the animations are incompatible with PCEA2. why is this?   5. I've never tried making/writing a scripts before. I'll try and see if I figure it out. Also since you're Fore I just want to thank you, your mods have made Skyrim a hell of a lot more enjoyable :)
  6. I'm wondering if it is possible to make custom dagger animations seperate from 1h sword animations. I've used FNIS PCEA2 a lot and I'm well versed in .hkx files. 1h hkx files apply to all 1h weapons in your right hand, that includes swords, maces, axes and daggers. I want to make custom animations SPECIFICALLY for daggers (not dual wield) as I'm planning to play a thief/assassin/ninja character. I want to use a normal 1h weapon (probably katana) for "normal" fights, and then quickly switch to a dagger for sneak kills, assassinations etc. The problem is my 1h animations do not fit well for daggers, especially the idle and walk left/right/forward/backwards animations. Those animations are really cool and I spent a lot of time making them work for swords, but it just doesn't look right on daggers.
