  1. Bump It would be super nice. Dont really need to add any actual sights to the crossbows, just make him look "down the sights" for better aiming
  2. I'm asking myself this exact same question and can't seem to find an accurate answer. In the file it says "//use original game processing first, then mine", but what does it mean or imply exactly. Oh and btw, when I do activate night eye, it works wonders in exterior world, even if super dark I can see perfectly with night eye on. But when I activate it in interior maps like dungeons or caves, it barely changes anything. Brightly lit areas get a bit brighter, but dark and poorly lit areas are still too dark to call it an effective night vision. Somebody knows why? or what parameters to tweak?
  3. First, sorry if I didn't reply sooner, I used the manual technique with the plugins.txt file to activate my mods so I kinda bypassed my problem... It doesn't. No matter what I do with my ini files, the Launcher doesn't create new default ones, doesn't overwrite them doesn't modify them if I change the graphics settings within the launcher... Since the very first day I installed the game. That's been already done... Never heard of that one... I'll try it as soon as I'm finished here. Next to "sD3DDevice=" under [Display] in SkyrimPrefs.ini, there's nothing, since I didn't know what to right exactly. I'll explain something. Like I said, the launcher has been "bugged" for me since the very first day. As you might expect, I didn't want to play the game in 800x600 Windowed more for ever so when I found my ini files I kinda taylor made them myself tweaking the numbers using guides and home testing until it worked fine for me (bypassing the launcher again... as you can see). I used files created here as a base start for tweaking. So it is highly possible that some important parameters might be missing, wrong, or misplaced, giving the launcher problems with my ini files. Maybe the launcher got problems detecting my video card in the first place and couldn't interact with my ini files from that point on. I got a GeForce 9800 GX2 btw. One last thing, I realised that my launcher isn't TOTALLY blind. If I use the launcher to update my mods, it will overwrite and empty the plugins.txt file (since I didn't activate anything in the Data section of the launcher) unless I set it as Read Only, which I do to avoid having to remake the whole list everytime I update or add new mods. I will add my ini files as attachments for those who might want to take a look and point out errors in them. thanks
  4. I'll try to make this as short as possible. I got the steam version of Skyrim on Win 7 and the launcher always auto-detects graphics settings and resets them to default. But it doesn't actually overwrite my ini files. Btw for me they are located at C:\Users\"User Name"\AppData\Local\Skyrim\My Games\Skyrim (There is another one located in my installation folder but the contents do not modify the game settings.) I can tweak them anyway I want and even if the launcher resets to default every time, the ini files remain unharmed, and they are not "read-only" and UAC is disabled. I can even modifiy the ini files when the launcher is opened without errors. The reset was only anoying and when I started using SKSE, it wasn't a problem anymore because I bypassed the skyrim laucher. But now I want to use some mods from the Workshop on Steam and like many here, the Data files option in the launcher is greyed out. I tried every single f*** solution I found concerning the "bEnableFileSelection=1" inserted it in all possible locations on all possible ini files I found and the launcher kept greying the Data Files option. It appears to me that my launcher can't access my ini files to read what's written on them or tries to access a file in some other location that is not existing. It would explain why I can tweak with my ini files but the Launcher can't overwrite them. Hence why I say my launcher is "blind" Anyone got a clue on this?
