  1. I never notice the hands or feet as needing improvement, don't care about skin textures or the UV, and the CBBE outfits are 99% outfits you could not pay me to wear. I'm bothered enough by the heels on this outfit that I'm unlikely to wear it anyway, but I wanted to figure out what went wrong for future reference. Seriously, I'm good. Importing in the right body fixed it. Thanks.
  2. Oh, I see what you mean. Thanks! And I'm not interested in installing a body mod for one outfit that I might not even wear myself.
  3. I don't have CBBE at all. How would I go about doing that? None of the tutorials I've found are done this way around, and none of them really have anything like this in them.
  4. So I was converting an outfit from CBBE to Vanilla. My skin looks way messed up in Bodyslide, like this: https://i.imgur.com/g6qmYKQ.png Ingame, it looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/UBtdee1.png The skin is fine for vanilla outfits in Bodyslide, but this one is CBBE only. I assume that's what's going wrong here, but how do I fix it?
  5. I managed to get to the right point in the story to get Half-Pirouette and that worked fine at the least!
  6. Glad to see I'm not all alone in regards to Witcher 2 modding! Thank you for your effort, it is much appreciated. I downloaded your mod and will give it a try asap. However, instead of unpacking and repacking everything again into the pack0.dzip I will merge your files with mine that I have already modded as they work unpacked when placed into their respective folders inside CookedPC. That way, you can avoid the time consuming step of unpacking and repacking that pesky 10gb file. Since the first problematic abilities are the s22 and s25 and I have just entered Flotsam, it will take me some time to get there, but rest assured that I will report back with any news. Honestly, I'm not COMPLETELY sure how modding this game works, as far as merging and folders and all go. This was my first attempt to mod the game at all. I played it ages ago but had to stop because my computer couldn't handle it. Only just got around to playing more.
  7. Just figured it out. See: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5466327-how-to-open-and-edit-w2phase-files/ I went ahead and just uploaded the result as a mod here: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher2/mods/823? Let me know how it works.
  8. Hey, you want Witcher 2's REDkit. It comes with the "extras" on Steam in the Tools menu, and you can get it from GOG if you have the game there. Look in the Asset Browser for the w2phase and edit it from there. You might need to use the search to find the right thing, because these are hard to navigate. Use edit/find and scroll left to find "By Script Function." When you save it, it will change the copy of the file in RedKit's directories. Navigate there, copy it out, merge it into your game. I don't know what method anyone else used, but this one at least works for me. WARNING: Changing script function will clear the ability name it adds. (If, say, you're doing like I am and trying to fix some broken story abilities, this is important)
  9. Ah, it's because it's on the edge? That's kinda weird, I wonder how it manages to show all the way through the lapel as well,
  10. I mean, you're not wrong generally speaking, but this problem is in the untouched mesh and the model vertices seem to be in the correct spot. I'm using a picture of my mod right there, but the problem is identical to the original mesh without bodysliding or weight sliding. There doesn't seem to be a way I can figure out to fix it by moving dots.
  11. Alright, well, I have run into something that is way out of my depth while trying to do an armor mashup. There is a bug in the lapel on the Minutemen General armor's lapel. A button on each side is smeared weirdly and the texture where it's smeared is dragged through to the other side of the lapel mesh. http://i.imgur.com/r9PLind.jpg It's only obvious with a retexture. The original texture is so grimy that it's not obvious. If someone could figure out how to fix this, I would be very grateful!
  12. Thanks, Crusher, but my mod requires the original. The original is still findable, though on non-English sites, as L0rd0fWar pointed out.
  13. I know there's a mod to make Erimond tranquil, but I'd also like to be able to make Erasthenes from the templar-side sidequest tranquil. That one's more mercy than anything.
  14. It is apparently true, though. I started off just messing with Breezehome, but the person I have testing couldn't buy Proudspire either. They did the things required to buy the home, too. ETA: Found the solution! Thanks anyway.
  15. I know how to buy the houses normally. I started off trying to mod Breezehome so that it could be bought without the Vanilla start. However, a person helping me test noted that alternate starts somehow blocked them from normally gaining any house. I cannot figure out why this would be the case. I even resorted to removing all the appropriate checks from the dialog to buy Breezehome to make the topic ALWAYS show up, but it will not show up if you have done an alternate start.
