  1. In response to post #18173314. I use a 360 controller also and SkyUI works fantastic with it, try using the favorite menus with it. When you hit up on the d pad you can put your favorites into 8 different categories and switch groups using the onscreen prompts they list for you very easily. It does all the sorting and everything else with a controller too, you just have to read the onscreen prompts they list for you till you learn what they are. Even the MCM menu is built to work with a controller, again you just have to read the onscreen prompts they built right into it for you. I haven't used a KB and Mouse in Skyrim to control it since the first day I bought it, the 360 controller works flawlessly in Skyrim. I only use the KB if I have to use a console command, or to rename an enchanted item at this point. SkyUI has full controller support built into it and I highly recommend it to anyone that uses a controller to play Skyrim. It isn't the top file for Skyrim by accident, it works no matter what you use to control Skyrim.
  2. In response to post #12841923. On topic to this thread. I love the new NMM version, I just upgraded to 49 and it rocks. Can not wait till version 50 drops with the character profiles and I love that you are adding more games to Nexus Mods. Off topic in reply to Sahow4869 Just wondering why you feel people do not have the right to say this game sucks? That is one opinion just like saying they like the game, everyone has the right to their own opinion. Your saying "but it is a Beta", fact is the game comes out in a few days for people that preordered it to start playing early, and Apr 4th for those that didn't. How much can they really change from this "beta" build to the final release version other then maybe a few bug fixes that will require a patch that will not even be on the disc they have already pressed? To many people this game sucks, to many people it is just average, and some even like or love it. All of them are right since it is their opinion and can not be wrong and that is a fact. Google the word "opinion" and stop telling people how they should think about something just because YOU like it. For the record I think this game is below average and not worth $60 let alone $15 on top of that every month. I can honestly say I found it very boring and even if it was a F2P game would not waste my time playing it.
  3. Kudo's to you DrakeTheDragon. Thanks to you I found the problem, it said he was blocked globally for some reason.
  4. I uploaded a mod that myself and ApokKnight worked on and I listed him as having editing access. As of 2 days ago he has not been able to view the mod saying that he is denied access to it, but I have not banned him or anyone from any mod I have ever done. He tried viewing the mod without being signed in and can view it. As soon as he signs back in it says he is not allowed to view this mod. Since I uploaded the mod is there any way for me to check banned users to see if for some reason he is listed as denied? Is there something I can do as the publisher to allow him access to the mod again? I checked and he is still listed on the uploaded attributes file as having editing access so I have no idea why he isn't allowed to view this file he helped create. In case it matters to help answer the question the mod is here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49519/?
  5. For Chrome you need to follow this guide to reset your browser protocol for this site so you can download with the NMM program again. http://thetechjournal.com/how-to/tutorial-how-to-re-authorize-opening-of-external-applications-from-google-chrome.xhtml
  6. In response to post #10659956. #10698975 is also a reply to the same post. Thank you very much for your reply and all your hard work on this site.
  7. In response to post #10695345. Then I am grateful for all your donated time to this site. bben46 mentioned working with the developers so that gave me the impression he was paid for his service and now I can see why he isn't paid by his response. If he worked for me, he would most certainly be in my office getting some remedial training on how to handle situations like this. Truly I thank you mod's for all your help you give to people when you can. I feel bben46 deserves a turd sandwich however for that reply as Dark0ne likes to say. Since you seem to not have a mod for that bug section would you like someone to watch that area for you? I may be able to help you at least post a "we got your report and are looking at it" reply so people know that the issue is at least being looked at. That is much better than no response at all for the people looking for answers to any issues they might have.
  8. In response to post #10685147. I understand you guys are busy, like I stated in my post, before the part you quoted. However every post in the NMM bugs report section gets a reply to it within 1 to 2 days at most. A simple I'll look into it, like what happens sometimes in that section, would be fine as well. That is much better the nothing at all. This simple thing lets people know you at least saw the post. You guys always ask for constructive criticism and that what that post was as well as asking if I need to do anything about the problem or just simply wait. Here is some more constructive criticism for you now. If your going to respond in one bug report thread, then why not the other thread too? Look at that section I don't think anyone official has responded to anything in it in several months at least. Your users do not have ESP and have no idea what you see or what you don't see. It just seems darn odd to me that one thread gets constant feedback and the other one is dead with zero feedback. Like I will say again, all it takes is one sentence. There has only been 20 posts total in 10 days in that section, compare that to the pages and pages in the other section for the NMM bugs just in the last few days alone and yet every single on of them has an official reply from a moderator, every single one. I waited 10 days before I asked about it in here. Your points would make some sense if you didn't answer every darn reply in the other section, but you guys do. So please explain how 20 people over 10 days it too hard in the Nexus Websites, but a few hundred in that time are easy in the other section, Mod Manager Beta, for you then? I didn't ask for a comprehensive replay from a developer, I asked are you aware of this and if I should just wait or if I should reupload the file. I even asked what would be best for you guys to have me to do to help things out on your end didn't I? Another thing I am going to say is you personally bben46 is you should work on your customer service, your post to me implies that your time is valuable and important yet mine is not. Last I checked people don't get paid to make mods to post on this site for you do they? They make them on their own free time and that is just as important as your working time that you get paid for. Without them you might not even have a job to do. Now I made clear that I get that you guys are all busy right now and even said I was sorry about having have to ask the question in here. I felt I had to ask because the person that started the bug report, and the other users like myself, got no response about it after 10 days. Lastly you need to think about this fact, you could have answered every one of the 20 posts on page one of the bug reports under Nexus Websites, with one line only, in the time it took you to type and post your reply to me that was not even helpful to anyone. You could have used one liners like "we are currently working on this" maybe "we will look into this issue" or even "we have seen your report and will look into this." If there is an answer to the problem then your darn right you should post that as a reply to the issue if you know how to fix it. If you don't know what the issue is, then just say that. Don't be like EA and just ignore your users altogether, or post about how your time and efforts are more important than your users time and efforts are. That doesn't accomplish anything.
  9. Any word on the wrong file names showing up for peoples mods? There is a bug report in the Nexus Websites area about it but no mods have responded to any issue for a few weeks now in that section of the bug reports. My mod (in the Mass Effect 2 game section) still has the incorrect file name listed, do I need to delete the file and upload it again? Can people endorse those files with wrong names? Should we wait and not delete those files so you can figure out why it isn't listing the correct file name? I understand you all are very busy with all the changes (that are for the better in my opinion) but you ask us to do bug reports and not post here, then please at least have a mod tell us that you are aware (or not) of the issue and at least received the reports with a recommendation of what we should do about it, IE wait, delete and reupload, etc. There are at least 4 people that reported on this so I don't know how wide spread this is. If it is wide spread, it must be really confusing to new users to see a mod called one thing, but the file name says something else and often it has something to do with another game altogether. Sorry to post a problem in here but that bug report section seems dead as far as mod responces go.
  10. Something is off in the new database that is displaying the file names of mods incorrectly on some of the new game areas like Mass Effect 2, Kotor 1, Kotor 2, GTA4 etc, but it seems like it links to the correct file to download for that mod. Here are a few links to show you what I am talking about. GTA 4 Niko's new face says it is Optional ENB Preset and that it is for Mass Effect. http://www.nexusmods.com/gta4/mods/2/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fgta4%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D2&pUp=1 Mass Effect 2 the Mass Effect 2 cheat console says file name says Cinematic Lighting Effects http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect2/mods/3/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fmasseffect2%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D3&pUp=1 I checked a few other game pages like Kotor and Halo and this mod file name (MEUITM torrent link) shows up for these two mods incorrectly. http://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fkotor%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1&pUp=1 http://www.nexusmods.com/halo/mods/1/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fhalo%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D1&pUp=1
  11. In response to post #10109619. #10110187, #10111487, #10111510 are all replies on the same post. I opened a bug report but I was only able to post two screen shots (do to file sizes) of the second pages of mod manager of the before and after in the first post, so I added the page 1's of them in a second post, as a reply to mine, with links to them and one taken during the profile switch as well. I am guessing it might have something to do with FNIS only because I am getting a warning now from it that was not there before, and I saw another user opened a ticket that was having an issue with FNIS now. I will try out a few animations in game to see if they work or not, I will let you know if I run into any issues from them. The warning says >>Warning: 1 non-FNIS behavior files in meshescharacterbehaviors. They CAN be the cause of Skyrim incompatibility:<< 0_master.hkx
  12. In response to post #10109619. #10110187, #10111510 are all replies on the same post. When I switch profiles it loads only the mods for that profile but it unchecks all of them and I have to recheck all my Nexus mods for that profile, all the Steam mods stay checked for it. Could it have something to do with FNIS since it says I need to run it for each profile with that mod? But I have switched back and forth a few times and have to recheck them each time so far.
  13. I have been playing around with it for a few hours and so far it seems to work great, I really like it. The only thing that could use improvement is when you switch profiles you have to recheck the loaded mods, not a big deal since there is a check all inactive mods button at least. Still it would be nice of it automatically keep them checked as on once that profile is loaded. Only other thing I noticed is if I am running Xpadder to use my controller as a mouse, it disables that program somehow, not a bid deal at all, just kind of odd LOL.
