I seem to have problems with casting spells while riding a dragon. I can equip the spell but when I try to cast (left/right click) nothing happens at all. No mana is taken, nothing happens. I make sure to target an enemy with my dragon first before I start trying to cast, but it makes no difference. I have FNIS and have ran the patcher. No errors showed up. I have the latest version of skyrim, latest unofficial patches and all the DLCs. There doesn't seem to be any other animation problems, ONLY casting spells from dragonback is bugged. When I try to shout from dragonback it will bug out and say "You are already shouting" or something along those lines, also if I try to cast a spell now it will say I can't cast a spell because i'm shouting. any ideas? I tried deleting the meshes related to character animations in \meshes\actors\character still the same problem, anyone have any ideas :[ edit: I also forgot to mention, I have dragonborn, dawnguard, hearthfire, and all the unofficial patches

Please HELP!! I've tried both of your solutions and still can't get my magic to work from dragonback :((( The only mod I have affecting dragons is deadly dragons. :-[ edit: uninstalled deadly dragons, tested on a brand new game, same problem. I have one mod that affects magic, mighty magicka. Should I try to disable this too? I don't think it'll help though since this problem seems animation related
