  1. Hi, So I decided to compile some random armor, ammo and weapon items into an existing 'merchant' mod- some are enchanted, some not- and I priced them ranging from $300 to $7000 in the CK- but in the game, they are sold at astronomical markups. There doesn't seem to be any identifiable pattern- for instance, something that I priced at $2000 might be sold for $3600 while another I priced at $550 is sold for $17,500! One item, that is simply an ice staff, is selling for $42,000, when it's barely worth $1,000... Anyway, does anyone know how I can fix this? It's been driving me crazy trying to figure it out... I just want the items to be (much!) closer to the prices I set for them. Thank you. ****************************************************** EDIT: Never mind, I figured it out. I had to un-check 'Auto-Calc' on the enchantments. :) ******************************************************
  2. **Need Help Changing an Item from "Ammo" to "Armor"**- Pardon the big typo in the subject line. :( A mod I'm using in my game has wings that (for whatever reason) show up as ammo- these wings use the quiver/arrow slot and if you use your bow with these equipped- they 'fire' as an invisible arrow and completely vanish. I really want to use them, but it's problematic since archery is my choice weapon. How can I change these to armor, as they should be? Thanks, anyone that can help.
  3. Wow, I didn't even know anyone replied... Thanks, and sorry for just getting this, I appreciate your responses. :) I must be tracking too many mods and notifications are just lost in the continual 'notifications'... :P Yeah, I'm still no closer to having this mod in my game- I'm just not (currently) the 'scripty' type, I was honestly just hoping that this would be something really easy to make, and that one who has experience and an understanding of those game mechanics would come across this and just 'throw it together real quick' up and say "pfft, that was nothing, you want another one just like it?" :D haha... That would be wonderful. :) Maybe I'll just end up figuring it out myself one day. :) Thanks again... :)
  4. Hello... I would love to see a mod that allows the player to 'cry (YELL) for help', which would allow Guards/NPC's (within a certain radius) to hear your player calling for help, and thus come running to assist the player (or attack, depending on their faction) when the player is overwhelmed with attackers... Or is just 'crying wolf'. Of course, it could also be used to ambush nearby NPC's/guards, and lure them away for more sinister purposes... It's sort of like the 'throw voice' shout, but it calls the NPC's towards the player- which would cause them to get involved in the conflict (or run, if they're scared). It could be a 'Power', unlimited or restricted, depending on which is easiest to design. Honestly, if I had the slightest idea how to make something like that, I'd have made it a thousand times, just because it would be so perfect for role playing... Especially in those no-fast-travel, survival types of playthroughs, with zombies and bandits and monsters and patrols and whatnot creeping around stone wall, relentlessly chasing you, as you run for your life... Anyway, I feel like this could be somewhat easy (for those who understand this aspect of mod making), so if anyone has any suggestions or advice (or could make this mod a reality!), please share! Thank you... Neetra  xo
  5. Hello  Ok, so I've been meticulously decorating and texturing Goldenglow Estate to my own odd liking, and I can't figure out how to get all of this food to stay in place. :-\ There are lots of 'pieces', and I'm hoping that there is a way to 'lock' them into place, preferably in a 'bulk' sort of way... :D And if group 'staticking' isn't possible, roughly how much time would it take to make so many individual items static? It's disappointing to see donuts on the floor and plates clipping through cake... Thanks for reading and I really appreciate any help- very detailed help (if possible)- I'm not particularly experienced with the CK! :D Thanks!
  6. Wonderful! Thank you!! :D :D :D I'll post back with how everything goes! :)
  7. Nice, thank you for your reply! :) I'm going to look into this now! :) Glad you mentioned the plane markers, because I did notice them but I wasn't sure what their purpose was, so thanks for the information regarding them. :) As far as the textures go, I'm good with that, I've re-textured tons of things, including all the Hearthfire homes, Honeyside, and much of Goldenglow, but for whatever reason, my re-textures won't show up in Drelas' Cottage or Abandoned Shack... :-\ Also, I've been checking the 'don't havok settle' box, which seemed to help a bit, but not enough by any means, but I was unaware about the physics settings in the CK- good to know! :D Thanks again, so much! :) Here's hoping I can resolve some of these issues now! :) One more question- is there a way to make an 'invisible container' (that would be storage just like a non-respawning chest), and use it 'behind/around' a set of 'static' placed items? OK, one more question- is there a way to place a larger 'invisible' static item *over* other items- essentially creating an 'invisible protective case' around them, so they cannot be interacted with whatsoever, therefore, keeping them truly stationary, even against explosions, shouts, etc?
  8. Hey, So I tried to Google the explanation, but I couldn't find the proper way of describing this, to yield any relevant results... Anyway, as you can see, there is a void... The location is Goldenglow Estate, and I attempted to 'extend' one of the main floor rooms (which worked fine for about 2 floor/wall/ceiling panels worth of 'duplicating' and extending), but then, it just cuts off and shows a big grey nothingness. However, I can cross through this void and into the rest of the extension that I added, but I can't 'see' one side from the other side. The first screenshot below shows what I see when looking 'back' at the rest of the house (the original room in the house, and the part of my extension that it did 'accept')... Basically, I see the lights I have situated, but not much else. The second screenshot shows my character standing in the 'house' area, and the third shot shows her standing in the exact same spot, but with the camera turned in the other direction. Basically, I'm standing on an 'invisible' platform/wall or something... I don't know how to fix it- I've tried moving the 'extension' over and literally 'overlapping' the 'main room', but still no luck. ANY help would be greatly valued. http://imageshack.us/a/img18/1135/sxa2.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img703/1630/u5cd.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img10/9339/0o2y.jpg ALSO, second question... I was attempting to modify 2 locations- Drelas' Cottage and the Abandoned Shack... For whatever reason, my dedicated hours of "renovations" simply would not show up in the game, in either of those two locations. The re-texturing, namely, was not acknowledged at all. Also, even after saving and exiting the CK, upon restarting it, my work was 'undone' in the CK as well! Only with those two places. Any ideas why that may be? Third question... OK, so I've downloaded several 'modders resources', specifically 'static' items, because I want to have 'functional decorations' (i.e. storage, like jars, food items, etc), but for some reason, not all of the items stay put. They bump into each other, and get all jiggly and pop out of things and whatnot, and I would really REALLY love to be able to fix this... I download mods from many of the wonderful nexus modders out there, and I see these same resources in their mods, yet they don't move at all... How do I achieve that? In the photo below, there are some examples of some 'static' items that simply will not stay still... I've even made them smaller to try to keep them from bumping into each other, making them much less attractive and severely out of proportion- yet with no success, still. If it's of any significance, I used a 'strongbox' as a base when making these static items into 'storage'... Let it be known, I've only just started modding, and I admit, I really don't know *exactly* what I'm doing... But I do have nexus member modder3434 to thank for the wonderful information that jump started my modding adventures... Thanks for any help!! xoxo http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/5361/rxlw.jpg
  9. Very nice! :D Already on my bookmarks bar... :) Also, regarding the female voice acting, what type of 'character voice' are you looking for?
  10. It worked. IT WORKED!! :D I'm so happy, and I can't thank you enough!! :D :D Seriously, I'm so grateful for your help, you have no idea!! I looked and looked, and couldn't find anything helpful, but yours was perfect! You are soooo awesome for that... :) http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/61/fv3j.jpg xoxo!! :D
  11. Haha, yeah, it seems! :) And you're quite welcome! :) As far as the feathers go, you'll have to just Google it, I don't know the rules regarding linking offsite... :P It's a small file, but if you can't find it, pm me.
  12. Did you see my reply earlier? The feathers are 'Niire's Harvest feathers', the headband, *I think* is from KDCirclets Redone by zzjay http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27064/?, and the hair, I don't know... http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/9254/1o4j.jpg http://img542.imageshack.us/img542/943/prdr.jpg I believe that is the headband, but it's just different lighting...
  13. I'm sorry, I thought about that right after I quoted the question from the other poster, and the picture showed up in my reply to him/her- I wondered if it was OK, but sorta doubted it... Now I know. Definitely noted... :) Thanks for not scolding! :)
