  1. Yes. You may mention that the mod requires SG hairs, but you cannot discuss where to find it or link to it. Telling someone to google for it would be as far as you can go in that regard. Okay, I understand. Thank you for the reply :smile:
  2. SG Hairs is an old mod that apparently used assets that were stolen and ported to Skyrim without the original creator's permission. From what I've read, the mod wasn't downloadable from the Nexus, but the mod author who made it took it down from their own website or something because the person they stole assets from found out about it. Despite this, the mod is still available for download elsewhere on the internet. If you search SG Hairs on Google, you'll probably find a link to it in a thread from r/SkyrimMods. So this brings me to my question. One of my follower mods requires SG Hairs to function, since one of the followers uses hair from the mod. Would it be against the rules of this site to post a download link for SG Hairs in my mod description? What if I posted a link to the r/SkyrimMods thread that has the link in it? I think that sharing links to mods that use stolen assets is piracy, but I've seen people post links to it here on forum threads - just not in mod descriptions. I really don't want to change my follower's hairstyle, because they won't be the same character to me anymore... Sorry if this is a dumb question. I just don't want to be banned :/

Is there a mod (it'd likely be a simple one) that replaces the special snowflake 'Pure-blooded Vampire eyes' (basically, the yellowish non-glowing eyes that Valerica, Serana, and Harkon use) with the eyes that all the other vampires in the game use (the glowing amber, iris-less eyes)? If not, then maybe I can replace it myself? I just can't find the damn filename of the pureblood vampire eyes.

  5. This is starting to really piss me off. I recently re-installed FONV, and have been trying to mod it again, but can't get any textures/mesh replacers to work. I think it's because of ArchiveInvalidation, but I might be wrong. I've been fiddling around with the many different ArchiveInvalidators around the internet for hours now, and can't get any of them to work. I've tried this one, and this one, and this one., and the body replacer still won't work. I've even tried editing my three .ini files (Default, Pref, Fallout) and still NOTHING. Thoroughly annoyed, I've also tried FOMOD's archiveinvalidation, turning it on, then off, then back on, and STILL, my character's model looks like this: http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag210/InterlopS91/eqrqeqreew/ScreenShot0_zpsyevswxev.png How the hell do I fix this and make body replacers work? I'm trying to install the Type 6 body replacer, in particular, but it seems that other body replacers refuse to work, either. Additionally, I extracted all the Textures and Meshes that are in those archives in the Data folder into their respective folders with FOMOD. Am I not supposed to that?
  6. Hi, I'm using Stakado Cinemascope, and I'm getting this glaring purple sunshaft thing just above the Bannered Mare every time I walk close to it. It burns. IT BURNS. Does anyone know how I can fix this, or should I just toss this preset? Maybe it's the ENB version I'm using?
  7. I can't activate my master bed in Proudspire Manor. I think I was playing around with console commands at some point, trying to fix the Proudspire wife sleeping in basement bug, and I screwed up the master bed. Hitting the activate button makes that 'can't use' error sound or whatever (it's that clicking noise you get when you try to activate things that can't be activated). I can use every other bed in Skyrim, however, such as ones I've rented at inns or elsewhere in the world, or the the one downstairs that Jordis is now using. The only bed I can't activate or sleep in is my master bed in Proudspire Manor. Any ideas on how I can fix this via the console?

  9. Through the Marriable Serana mod, I married Serana and moved into Proudspire Manor. Jordis came with the house (probably because I upgraded the cellar), so the three of us live there now. With the cellar room furnished (for Jordis, so she can sleep there), I expected Jordis to actually use the room, but she doesn't. Because Serana stays there, instead. Rather than walking around the house or sleeping in the master bedroom, Serana just stays in the basement, working at the alchemy table, walking around the fire, or sitting in the bench in Jordis' room. At night time, when NPC's are usually sleeping, I find Jordis standing outside her room, apparently not going in, with Serana either at the alchemy table, or sitting on Jordis' bench. What gives? Why isn't Serana walking around the house, using other furniture, or more importantly, sleeping in the master bedroom? And why isn't Jordis actually using her own room? I think it might be the Marriable Serana Mod's fault. I installed Proudspire Manor Bug Fixes, which is supposed to fix the whole 'wife sleeping in the cellar' bug, but Serana is still happy stealing Jordis' bench, and Jordis kinda just stands outside, sad. Neither of them sleep, by the way. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

I googled how to enable crash logs, and I've added: [Papyrus] fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 to my Skyrim.ini file in my documents/My Games/Skyrim folder. But for some reason, every time I get a CTD, there are no logs to be found. I can't find a 'Log' folder in my Skyrim folder. I've searched 'Logs', 'Papyrus', and 'Crash' in my My Games folder, and I can't find any logs anywhere. Am I missing something? Did I paste the code in the wrong .ini file? Or am I just looking in the wrong place? Help!
  11. So I've been at this for hours now, and my patience is severely thin. I've been trying to fix my followers so that their warpaint appears ingame. (Fix, as in, just damn yesterday, they were working fine, then out of nowhere they're not.) After sifting through google. it looks like a prominent issue with warpaint and face skin tones is that people forget to do Ctrl F4 to export their followers' meshes and textures into the game's data folder. The thing is ... is that I've done this. Dozens of times. After going back and forth between deleting my custom followers off the ingame world, reimporting their .npc face files into CK, Ctrl F4'ing to export textures and meshes, and then putting them back into the game world, I've pretty much given up. Because no matter how many times I do this ... THEIR WARPAINTS. STILL. AREN'T. VISIBLE. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. I was even nitpicky about Ctrll F4'ing while specifically under the third drop down menu below Actors, like some dude mentioned on another thread. Strangely, and irritatingly enough, their warpaints and skin tones are all perfect in Creation Kit, but when I load into the game via SKSE, they lack their warpaint and some of them have skin tones that don't match the rest of their body. What gives? What am I doing wrong? I've thus far disabled every mod I have installed in Mod Manager, in an attempt to root out a conflicting mod, but their damn faces are still screwed up. I just don't know what I'm doing wrong .... One other thing I noticed, is that yesterday, my custom follower mod had an .esp file in my data folder. After today ... well, it's not there.
