You can also use console commands to change the romances. Install the Debug Console Enabler (if you don't already have it) and enter the commands there. I also recommend the Multi Companion Mod. Add Triss as a companion using the InGame menu, then talk to her. (As a special companion, I think. I haven't played in a long time.) If the console commands are working properly, a "Triss, I love you" conversation option should appear.
