  1. Couldn't say for sure, so I uninstalled all my mods (about 50 or so), then deleted them all. There were still about the same plugins remaining. I checked the Data folder and saw they were still there as well as the numbered folders, so they must have been leftovers from MMO. I must have not removed them 1st before starting Vortex. .....Which now that I think of it makes sense since I didn't download Skyrim SE until after, so it was fresh for that. Well, no telling what was left over completely, and don't want it messing up the game any further, I backed up customizations and home made mods, deleted the entire mess and redoing from Start.
  2. So would it be ok to delete these folders since they don't actually contain anything?
  3. I could see that as being a thing except each numbered folder has a file in it that just says "_folder_managed_by_vortex", and often just that with nothing else. So Vortex created these folders. But they are also not in my Skyrim SE data folder, so its very odd. So if they are game related to F4 then everybody should have them, or if they are related to mods then the folders should have some indication as to which mod it is for.
  4. In my Fallout4 Data directory there is over 50 folders who's names are just numbers, inside each folder it varies from other folders labeled "materials", "textures", some others, most nothing else and empty except that each numbered folder has a file of 0 bytes named "_folder_managed_by_vortex". What are these folders? I highlighted the entire group and selected Properties and it turns out that apart from other folders inside some of them there is no actual data. All 50+ numbered folders have a grand total of 0 bytes of data. Can these folders be deleted, or are they placeholders for something?
  5. 1) Yep, happens on the older saves. 2) Nope, haven't added/removed a mod in days. 2a) - Also I have Steam hold off on updating the game, so no undesired/unintentional game updates either. 3) Tried it, Fallrim Tools found no issues. 4) Step back further and I am in a different play-through w/ different mod setup. The only newish mods I added a week ago were some follower mods just to have more people to bump in to during my travels. No other significant changes made.
  6. I exited a Jarl's house, entered a shop, purchased items, exited, saved and quit the game and went to bed. Next morning I resume my save and it crashes after I start the load. I load up the auto-saves made when exiting buildings previous and it still crashes. Without any changes made in the game or to the pc, why would it crash when loading saves that I have gone through before?
  7. I always have this problem. Not sure why it happens, but I have to unequip all the gear again and re-equip. Then the enchantment effects are working again.
  8. I am trying to update a number of mods, but the Mod Can Be Updated button to download the update doesn't work. For example, I try to download the Unofficial Skyrim SE Patch updated file using the button but immediately get a message saying "Failed to download file, please update manually". And then, on the bottom right I get a message saying that it is downloading. I click on the Downloads on the left side, but nothing is downloading. The problem is with all the available mods to update, but they all have the same issue. Other examples are Whose Quest Is It Anyway, and Enchantment Reload Fix Se. I am running Vortex 0.17.7 under Win10.
  9. During my travels I come across and collect a large amount of ore. I would like to smelt them into ingots. I would especially like to not have to do them one at a time, and even more especially since I have to move the mouse up to click on the ingot, down to the OK button, and back up again. This gets tiresome when there are 60+ ingots to do of one type, and I have many types. Is there a mod that can do batch smelting or similar?
  10. Is there a mod in Oldrim that changes the facial expressions of NPCs based on what they are doing? Mainly for followers. It would be nice to see more than just the bland blank expression on everybody's faces when a massive melee has broken out. Otherwise, the only time I get a good look is during the rare Power Attack.
  11. As the subject says, is it still nearly necessary to use? Are the fixes all that noticeable?
  12. Well, it turns out to have had something to do with Amazing Follower Tweaks. No crashes since disabling that. Funny thing though, everything that I scrapped w/ Scrap Everything all came back. All the unscrappables.
  13. I disabled Scrap Everything, but the game still crashes when I load into a new area. I guess it could be now a scrapped Save. I could try starting a new game w/ what I have left and see if I still have issues.
  14. I have a GTX 1060 6GB VRAM, video drivers from 9-15-07, 16GB RAM, and an Intel i5-6600 quad @ 3.50 GHz. I could understand if it was Scrap Everything, but then crashing at Settlements only would be understandable, but this can happen anywhere.
