Hi, I'm facing a strange issue with shadow render distance. No matter which setting I change - they are always rendered in close distance. Video https://vid.me/LcYs So far I've tried: * changing ShadowBoost settings * removing ShadowBoost * changing shadow values in INI files (Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini) * recreating Fallot 4 INI files (deleted Fallout4.ini, Fallout4Custom.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini so game created default ones) And nothing helped - shadows are always rendered at close distance. any other suggestions are welcome :smile:

I'm happy with HD pack as I use them as low level textures covered by modded ones. HD pack replaced Sharper Fallout4 mod for me which did a great job with blurry textures in game's early stage. Only bad thing about pack is it's 60gb size but on the other hand it's free so I definitely won't complain. As Zzyxzz said - those are the textures Beth made creating game probably scaled down at game launch due to optimzation process. So it's nice that Bethesda decided to release it.

Thanks for detailed clarification - but yes, my game resolution covers desktop resolution. No other graphic settings are forced in nVidia control panel. I'll probably have to reinstall my... 350+ mods...

yes, forgot to mention that I've validated game cache also but it didn't help. What do you mean with equal game and desktop video settings?

Hi, from some point my rock solid Fallout started to crash before main menu appears. I have no missing masters, no critical conflicts in xEdit either (having over 230 esp enabled). Strange thing is that when I run F4 first time after computer boot - it randomly starts only first or second time. Also if I make some changes to my load order - it starts once but after restarting game it constantly crashes before main menu is shown. Also for example if I change F4 launcher settings to low - it starts only first time, then after game restart - constantly CTD. And if I'll change settings back to ultra - once again - first start is ok and each other crashes... I've tried borderless mode - no luck. Recreates Fallout4.ini - no luck Disabled steam overlay - no luck. Disabled ENB/Reshade/Shadow Boost - no luck Disabled custom textures/interface/scripts - no luck also. What else might cause this?

Try renaming Data/interface folder to anything different and see if it helps. If yes - you probably have dome UI conflicting mod enabled.

Hi, It seems a little cheaty that entering VATS also shows undiscovered enemies. So would it be possible to limit VATS targets only to ones in current line of sight? Or those in the line of sight + tracked ones?

Yeah - it seems that there are less texture or interesting mods coming recently. Even mods updates are rarer. I suppose it'll change when CK comes out.

I feel that Betetr Explosives would be quite good for you because it raises damage done by explosives and differs them. Take a look at my active mod's list - 136 active mods, all of them running nice and without any problems. The only mods that I'm not interested now are settlement building mods. I don't start settlement building before some clever guy (or girl :wink:) creates a mod with god camera in building mode because currently used 1st person camera while building is a pain in my opinion.
