  1. Hi there, everyone! I'm currently finishing my major Skyrim mod, so I'm looking forward to start the development of a new side-project. I've been thinking about implementing HDT physics to things like leather straps or cloth knots on a bunch of weapons, but I think this was only possible in HDT-PE (Skyrim LE) and this feature is currently not yet supported by HDT-SMP. Have any of you guys tried this before? Do you know if it's accomplishable in HDT-SMP? Is there any example? If the feature is indeed not yet supported, I may implement it myself if I find the time. Cheers!
  2. Yay! Thanks a lot for the info you provided, Max! With your help, I managed to accomplish the effect! :3 The texture maps were just fine, I just wasn't tweaking the specular strength on Nifskope because I'm an absolute clown Still have to tweak and study a bit more the reflections, but the effect is working fine (I exagerated the white to make it more noticeable on this image): You are a life saver! Thanks again! hehe~
  3. Hi, hi! I'm still learning how NifSkope manages textures, so I was wondering if there is any way to apply a grunge mask to the basic flat specular glosiness Skyrim uses on really reflective metallic-looking surfaces. This is an example of what I'm trying to accomplish (and don't even know if it's actually possible): Thats the effect I'm looking for. Of course the images above are rendered in a 3D Texturing application. Is there any way to replicate it in Nifskope? I've tried messing around with the environment map, but that changes reflections on the whole mesh, and this effect would only look good if applied to just that little specular gloss. So, is this possible? If it is, I'd really appreciate a little explanation about how to set it up :') Also I'm new to the Nexus forums, let me know if there is anything wrong with thist post x')
