I've just found out there is a great immersion mod that restricts using map menu until you have Skyim map in you inventory https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/37238 I would be grateful if someone could port it to Oldrim (if it's possible at all and not too complicated). If anyone knows of existing Oldim mod that does the similar thing, please let me know. :smile:
  2. This is just an idea for a simple mod that adds sign of raiders presence in the Springvale school.. I tried making it myself in Nifskope, but I couldn't do it correctly... :dry:
  3. There was a mod which extingushes lights in the cities during the day. Could someone make a mod which does the same to fire inside blacksmith forge? Just a little more realism..
  4. I am looking for a mod that adds abilitiy to harvest ingredients from trophies (deer head, mudcrab, saber cat...). I am pretty sure there was a mod that does this, but I can't find it.
  5. Could someone make a mod which locks gates of the larger cities (Whiterun, Markarth, Windhelm etc.) from dusk until the morning? In order to open them you'll need a key (which you receive as Thane, or by pickpocketing) or you need to ask a guard (with speechcheck). If there is already mod like this, please let me know.
  6. Hi scientic Thanks for reply! I tried your mod some time ago and it was one of the inspiration for me to do something like this. There is a mod resource Readable Spell Tomes, which I used, but it didn't allow me to learn spell. I changed the page style by editing book mesh, so the tomes of each magic school will have distinctive pages.
  7. Hi I wanted to make a mod which adds illustrations and magic text to all Spell Tomes, and doesn't destroy them during learning spell. I am an illustrator and I know very little about working in Creation Kit, so I was wondering if someone could make a mod like this, and I will do the illustrations and the text.   8. Just some suggestions for a more realistic game..more strategically city defense/security and reaction toward the crime. I would love if someone could be able to implement some of them. If there are mods that do similar things, please let me know. 1 - Unless you are a thane, you must leave your weapons before entering jarl's place. It's just weird that anyone can just waltz in jarl's house. It was especially bothering me with the Blue Palace. High king has recently been murdered, but it's still ok for anyone to visit Blue Palace, no search on entrance, you can easily fus ro dah Elisif... In my opinion, weapons should be stored inside master locked chest, and the guard has the key. Upon exiting, you receive your weapon back. Similar thing has been done in Fallout: New Vegas when you try to enter Silver Rush shop. You just talk to the guard and weapons are automatically removed and stored in a locked crated. http://i65.tinypic.com/zxvdf.jpg Ok, you still should be able to cast spells... 2 - Each city should have a warning siren (a horn or a large bell signaling the guards to close the gates, raise drawbridge, be on alert). For example. If you commit crime inside the Whiterun, drawbridge outside will be raised, preventing you from leaving quickly. You would need to lower the bridge, which will take time and stamina. It should be expert/master lock, with one of the guards having the key...or the key will be inside locked chest above. http://i64.tinypic.com/15oj9k8.jpg Above the gateway, there should also be bars, preventing you from easily leaving (and also preventing you from entering from from the mountain side). http://i65.tinypic.com/24ovxq0.jpg Basically, every city should have some kind of way to make your escape difficult if you are a wanted criminal - not just bunch of guards, but also more obstacles. 3 - Family of the people you've murdered will hire assassins to deal with you (or attack you if you enter their house). In vanilla game, if you kill a merchant's family member, they just say "I should bash your face in after all you've done." and continue to sell you their items. -_- 4 - Merchants won't buy guard armor and shields (because having those items means that you stole them). 5 - Fine for killing people is much higher. And even after you pay it (or serve the jail time) people in that hold will still have negative reaction toward you, and merchants will sell you stuff for much higher prices. 6 - The second time you commit murder in hold, you will lose your property and thaneship in that hold.

  11. I found this Russian mod which adds some new food, harvestable acorns, beets, oranges... I was wondering if there is already an English version, or if this mod is implemented in some other mod.   13. Thanks Frank. Well, I have somehow managed to fix it (by trial and error)...The problem was with importing in Blender.
