  1. I really didn't want to be rude, but New Frontier being a mod that was in development for 7 years, this is inexcusable. The dialogue options, like some people already mentioned in this thread, are very poorly though of and give you an illusion of choice because... they pretty much have the same impact, but just worded differently. Not to mention the options I was given were appalling, to say the least. The whole writing and narrative are sub-par, which made me stop playing it. It's sad, because the voice was actually nice... for the most part.
  2. Being a big fan of the MGS series, I liked how Naked Snake held his M1911A1 and his knife in MGS3. I always thought it'd be interesting to have a receiver mod that'd let you use a knife when you used the bashing action. That is, assuming that only by modding the receiver it is possible to have diferent animations for the gun.
  3. After searching around in the CK and FO4Edit, I realized not a single record refers to the various weapon reload sounds any weapon has, so I couldn't reverse engineer it. How exactly is it done? Is it tied to animation files?
  4. My bad, I assumed it was obvious. The game in question is Skyrim. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a mod author sub-sub-forum for Skyrim. Edit: Actually, there is... If you would be so kind as to move the thread to the proper place. I should have searched deeper.
  5. So, I decided to merge the automail mod into the UNP body... But I've hit a wall. The Automail part won't show up in game, most likely because the Texture set for the hands only has the skin texture. Is there any way to have a body part's textures showing up in-game without a Texture Set? Obviously without having to redo the UV Maps. http://i.imgur.com/lUx9hc1.png

  7. You're awesome, devin. I'll give it a go and see how balanced the rads are in a DUST setting.Am I right assuming you only made the background radiation be applied when you're in exterior cells?
  8. I'll have to do a deeper search. Radiation as mod title doesn't come up with anything useful. As for the radmarkers, I'm assuming it can't carry over to other cells. That would be really useful if it did.
  9. After playing with DUST and Gas Masks of the World I felt that something was lacking. Something that would actually force me to wear a gas mask if I went outside, like what you experience in the METRO games. Would it be possible to use enough radiation markers to cover all of the wasteland with radiation? How would one go on about that?
  10. I bought this DIMM and I was wondering if it's compatible with the ones I already have. Is there any way to tweak the Command Rate and the CAS latency so that they'd work together? Do note that if they can't be run, I'll just use the HyperX and buy a second one later.   11. Morrowloot Ultimate is what I use. Along with Scarcity, You Hunger, Reduced Gold Rewards from Quests and Gold Adjustment. Since you're posting this in the Mod Authors forum, I'm assuming you know how to mod and I really, REALLY recommend you to pay attention to leveled lists when using these mods. I must have made about 5 patches myself for Morrowloot and all of the mods that conflict with it that were in my load order. That was because I usually redo the Bashed Patch and lose all of my changes, so the patches make it easier to deal with the conflicting leveled lists. If you don't want to do that, at least fix the lists everytime you make the Bashed Patch.
  12. I do think that the thread is pretty pointless. Maybe you should have worded things differently. Why should it even matter what's on the hot files? :confused: Is that even a valid reason? Why not just ignore the mods? I check the Nexus quite often and there's always some interesting mods to be found. You guys really need to look beyond the pretty followers. :thumbsup:
  13. I've been trying to turn a normal bow into a bound bow, but after the spell finishes casting, the sound stops abruptly... So I'd guess the NIF file has information about the sounds the bound bow makes when it's summoned from the oblivion plane :tongue: Now... How would I go on about having that on another bow model? I already have everything set up.
