  1. Ok, Ill keep this quick.. I have had hardly any crashes at all with Skyrim and the construction kit, used everyday since launch. I have done absolutely nothing to my computer to cause this new issue I am having, and boy what an issue it is. The Creation Kit now fails to startup giving me an instant crash blah blah message Skyrim has stopped working yada yada....I mean I went to bed last night with everything fine and dandy, so this morning when the CK crashed on startup I thought ok lets try again, and again and again........ Now here I am desperate and gone mad with anger because no matter what I do, be it reinstalling the CK, reinstall the whole of Skyrim, cleaned HD, new graphics drivers and pretty much everything you can do to sort a crash of this kind, it still darn well crashes on start. It dosent even give a reason as to the fault. Its extremely annoying that this manifests itself at the worst possible time for me in the middle of a large mod I have been working on everyday scince launch. I am beyond words. The Ck simply will no longer load. For some reason that is impossible to find or locate it has become totaly 100% unuseable overnight, quite literaly. I could use some pointers as to what I might try that I may have overlooked..! EDIT.. Very strange.. I grabbed a backup Skyrim folder and ran the CK from a different drive letter (E:) and now it loads up again, even the old ones in the original folders.. Hmm. So what the heck did changing the drive letter do to make it work again..?
  2. Thanks for the nice comments guys. I appreciate the positive feedback. I will bring my boar to Skyrim sometime in the next few weeks. I will need to do a whole new rig for it, and tweak many things. I will then animate it into Skyrim, which I know will be a wonderful stressful experience. Keep an eye out and he will be available soon..
  3. The male guard walk animation is really really bad. With the vanilla walk anim, they slide and shuffle their feet along the ground in a way that implies an arrow in the backside. Its the worse walk animation I have seen. Stiff and unatural like so many animations in the game. Is anybody planning on replacing it at some point..?
  4. I was wondering if it would be worth the effort to get some of these old models I made some 11years ago into Skyrim. I can see the wild boar fitting quite well and possibly some armour pieces. I have tons more models I made over the years that even today still hold up compared to Beths models and textures..Many of them would fit very well into the lore of Skyrim..   5. OK, I can use the free cam using the tfc console command, however my w key to move forward is not working. I cant seem to get move forward to function at all, which is normaly my right mouse button, but nothing I try allows me to simply move forwards. All the other movements are the same as my game binds and work as expected. So what could the problem be with move forwards. ? Thx..

  7. How does one set up the options box that pops up when you look at a barrel/container.? I would like to include another option referencing the container before you open it. Hovering the crosshairs over the model I would like to see extra options before you interact. Can anybody point me in the right direction here. Thx..

  9. Currently it is not really possible. You can do a messy workaround but its very hit n miss. A really dissapointing problem for modelers..
  10. I cant locate these 3 models in the destruction data tab under Debris. There are 3 to choose from (IceFormDebris,IceFormDebris14,IceWraithDebris) but you cant see what model it is using or the location which is very lame, so I am making more. Just cant locate the original Dir.. or what models the effects are using. Need some help plz..
  11. I need a script that is simply a "spawn list/container items when hit" which is activated when hit with a weapon or magic. Can anybody point me in the right direction.! Thx..
  12. My mod I am working on requires I create an explosive effect that is as follows: 1. Small AOE explosion without damage.. 2. Explosion size will spread about 2 metres only.. 3. High density dust effect brownish in colour.. 4. Small particles and debris in the explosion.. The best analogy I can think of is Assassins Creed smokebomb, but much smaller radius and brownish in colour. Needs to disipate in 1.5 seconds. The other problem figuring out is how to get a containers contents list, to spawn the items into the world. Bit like "spitting them out" effect like Diablo type looting.. Any help fellas is appreciated..
  13. I have been trawling through the many many objects in the CK to find ones that can be broken or destroyed in someway, such as the oiltrap you shoot to break. I was wondering if anybody knows of any other items that break and what their specific name or .nif is. So far I have only found the OilTrap and a breakable board, but I am sure there are others, I just cant find them.. Any help fellas..Thx

  15. A fast repeatable frontal kick that staggers certain size/weight NPC's back a few feet would be invaluable me thinks. As long as it hardly takes any stamina to perform the quick kick, and only knocks em back say 1/2 metres. I know we can use a shield to do this, so why not mod an animation for a similar Kick move..?
