  1. If you go in Vortex to Games/Supported, you should be able to set up the location for SSE manually.
  2. I had tried Vortex for SSE several times during the development and always reached an impasse. But with 1.0 version, I have tried once again - and my setup (including DLLs overwriting each other and things like this) is now working without problems. I understand, why some power-users do not like Vortex and prefer MO 2. But that does not mean Vortex is (now) dealing with SSE badly. This is my personal experience and YMMV, but I don't have any reason to leave Vortex for something else. (And I have been using MO, Wrye Bash Installer and was happy with them)
  3. All downloaded mods do not go to folder on Mods tab, but on Download tab. By default, this folder is on the disk where User folders are (usually C:). Is your SSE installation really on A:? I guess so, as you said that before. I believe this Skyrim Mods folder is a new one, not something created by any other program (like Steam, Wrye Bash etc.)? I am sorry, but I am out of ideas - as I have never seen a A: disk (and without system) anyway.
  4. Not all plugins are enabled after deployment - especially this is the case with mods with multiple plugins and not clicking on the Enable all notification. Not saying, this was the case.
  5. That is Mod view, not Plugins view, AFAIK. The question is - is the ESM in Plugins view enabled? If it is not, then even with Mod enabled, there still will be Missing Masters error. Can you show us, what your Plugins view looks like?
  6. The popup always shows when deploying mods, as this is the only time when Vortex is testing the links to files. Also, you have to be aware, what you did and where, if in Data folder, or in Mods folder. Ignoring is simply bad idea, as that would leave the links destroyed forever, asking on deployment again and again. Ignoring is not a solution. EDIT: Destroyed is wrong, Damaged is probably better, as the link exists, only the linked files are out of sync.
  7. Unlike MO, you can run the game outside Vortex. I am running SKSE almost always without opening Vortex and everything works.
  8. Besides, Vortex sees the .bsl files, you just cannot do anything with them, just as with original ESMs. Don't want them enabled? Uninstall within Creation Club.
  9. AFAIK, changing a path manually does not move the data to it. That is up to you.
  10. First of all, are you using Bodyslide Studio? When on rare occasions something went wrong with my CBBE install, it was usually invalid installation of Bodyslide.
  11. Just to add to it: I have three cloned profiles, all of them with SkyUI enabled and functioning. And I have never experienced otherwise.
  12. I would say that is because the archive is not in the Download folder. I am dropping the file into the Downloads view and I think, I hadn’t problem with reinstalling. Does Remove and then Install work?
  13. I would open the folder and have set up the BSA files open in BAE by default, so double-clicking the archive opens it in BAE and voila, I know what is inside. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/974
