  1. I've reinstalled all the mods but not in the right order the game now crashes on startup. I know how to fix this as I've fixed this before but living in the UK it's 1 o'clock in the morning here so I think I'd have a better attempt at this in the morning. Thanks for all your help so far, I will leave you with the plugins in order with the help of BOSS, like I said I was following Gopher's guide on YouTube: GameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1Zeta.esm=1aHUD.esm=1iHUD.esm=1CINEMATECH.esm=1CRAFT.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1Project Beauty.esm=1EVE.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1Mart's Mutant Mod.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esp=1ImaginatorFO3.esp=1DarNifiedUIF3.esp=1Project Beauty- Broken Steel.esp=1Project Beauty- Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced (BrokenSteel).esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Optional Restore Tracers (automatics only).esp=1WeaponModKits.esp=1WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp=1WeaponModKits - OperationAnchorage.esp=1WeaponModKits - ThePitt.esp=1WeaponModKits - BrokenSteel.esp=1WeaponModKits - PointLookout.esp=1WeaponModKits - Zeta.esp=1EVE.esp=1EVE Operation Anchorage.esp=1EVE - FWE Master Release.esp=1EVE - FWE Master Release (Follower Enhanced).esp=1EVE - FWE Master Release (pulse fix).esp=1EVE Anchorage - FWE DLC Anchorage.esp=1EVE - FWE with WeaponModKits.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp=0Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp=0Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp=0Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Project Beauty.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + DLCs.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - FWE Master Release + Project Beauty.esp=1F3ProjectRealityMkI.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.esm=0DYNAVISION - Dynamic Lens Effect.esp=1Directors Chair - Fallout 3.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Project Beauty.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Project Beauty (Followers Enhanced).esp=1
  2. So my little test has proven that it is one or two of the mods causing the freeze, just ran the game for 30 minutes (the longest I've managed to run it) and no freezing. Once I install all the mods I'll post a list of the plugins in their order, would it be more helpful to show the list from the nexus installer or is there another way?
  3. I can't post the list of plugins due to having already uninstalled a lot of the mods however I can give you a list of all the mods I was / will be running?
  4. Nope, still the same issue. I even tried removing the extra code to see if it runs without it and it did the same thing, although there was a noticeable difference in load times when changing the number of cores it is restricted too. But still I'm at square one. It is a heavily modded version of Fallout 3 I am running so I'll uninstall all mods then run the game again to see whether it is any of the mods affecting the game.
  5. I can see the Fallout_default.ini which is the one I edited but not the FALLOUT.ini it is possible that I may have deleted the FALLOUT.ini by mistake when replacing the .ini file to begin with. If the default is a fall back file could it be possible that I copy the default and create a new .ini file from the default and name it FALLOUT.ini? The only other .ini file I can find within the Fallout 3 folder is the preferences file. Thank you for the reply and sorry for my idiocy.
  6. I have modded Fallout 3 recently following Gopher's fantastic YouTube guide, however as I'm guessing some of you know not everything on that guide is up to date. For instance I have used FOIP and not Blackened because whenever I loaded the Blackened mod page all I would get is a black screen, this was the only deviation from the recommended guide that I followed. Now the problem. Fallout loads fine, but while running the game it will freeze at any random time frequently. It could freeze 2 minutes in or 10 minutes into the game, all the textures look fine no troubles with frame rate it will just freeze. I have done the fix for the multi-core problem and even reduced the number of usable cores to 1 to be sure it is not that such problem that is freezing Fallout. If anyone out there has any suggestions I'd be very grateful, my final resort will be to uninstall everything and start from scratch which I really would like to avoid. Thanks.
