The Diplomatic Immunity quest seems to be stuck. I spoke to Delphine and she sent me to talk to Malborn in Solitude and my quest journal says to talk to him. When I try to speak to him no conversation comes up at all. I tried to advance the quest with the console and nothing happened. Anyone have any suggestions?

I also felt that there were too few people so I have added some population mods to my game to liven it up. I have the following mods installed and they work well together and haven't caused CTDs. CM New Companions Mod (mostly for the population increase) Populated Cities Crowded Cities V5 More Travelers WiP Most of these have been going for over a month so I would say they can work together. I rarely have any lag and the only complaint if you want to call it that is that once in a while a bunch of them will end up in the same place for a bit.

I am also getting CTDs when using fast travel and a screen freeze type CTD if I try to run out of the area I am in. When you get to the transition when running it freezes. So it seems I am stuck where I am until Bethesda fixes this. Updates should always be voluntary, not automatic in my opinion. Everything was fine under 1.4...

Lately I have run into a situation where I am playing and I drop out to the steam screen. Then it says that steam is synchronizing. I can go back into the game and it will run great for a while and then drop again.Each time it synchronizes again. It is random, sometimes it happens a lot and then not for a long while. I found a setting where I can turn it off but don't know what it really does. Any advice or suggestions?

I swear I saw a mod that would give all npcs a bath to remove the dirt but I do not remember the name. I have searched thru the files and cannot find it. Anyone know the name and/or where I can find it?

I have installed NMM and when I try to sign in to it with my name and password it says it is not correct. My sign on works for Skyrim Nexus, the forums here, and the Oblivion Nexus from the oblivion days. I have installed a few mods manually already but want to use NMM. What did I miss, any ideas?

I am doing the Break of Dawn quest and have gotten down to the Kilkreath Catacombs where I need a key (or two) to open 2 doors to move on to the end of the quest. I haven't found them in any loot I found. Am I missing something or is there a bug?

For Skyrim I'll be replicating one of my favorite characters, Aragaun. He's a Rogue/Ranger type character and Arcane Archer. I have played this character profile from the D&D days thru the Baldurs Gate, TSC, ToB, and Everquest series. Also built one in Oblivion.

I agree that Skyrim needs some good companion mods. I had 3-4 companion mods in Oblivion, the best one overall that I liked was the Viconia companion. The whole storyline that came with her made her much more enjoyable. I hope someone brings some companions like that to Skyrim.

That would be the ultimate adventure. Can you imagine being able to travel all over Tamriel in one game?

I also loved the Trade and Commerce mod in Oblivion. I would be great to see it come to Skyrim.

While I did not play any of the ME games I did play Oblivion and installed the Viconia (from Baldurs Gate) mod and played it all the way thru. In the beginning you had to earn her trust and you develop a relationship as time went on and in the end you could marry her. You could have sex with her but it wasn't graphical just descriptive. It would be nice to see similar adult oriented mods like that created for Skyrim but more graphical.
