I tried this and now get an error message saying "couldn't find Oblivion.exe, make sure you're running this from the same folder as your oblivion.exe" Are you saying it works if you just keep trying it?

So I just started trying to mod Oblivion. I installed OBSE and OBMM so I could get started, but ever since installing OBSE the game will not launch at all. I have tried starting the game via obse_loader and through OBMM and get the same result: My screen will go black for a second as if the game is going to start up, then a generic "oblivion.exe has encountered a problem and must close" error pops up. I haven't actually loaded any mods yet so I think this is just a problem with OBSE. EDIT: Forgot to mention I'm running XP, if that makes any difference.

UPDATE: Okay after reinstalling it manually I got it to work by enabling through the normal Skyrim launcher and then starting the game through SKSE (the desktop icon, not the shortcut through NMM)

I'm having some trouble getting all my mods to communicate properly. I tried downloading Immersive Weapons/Armor through NMM, but they won't install. The error message is nothing specific, just "the mod was not installed." So I try installing them manually but the problem with that is that while I can enable them through the normal Skyrim launcher, I can't with SKSE, which means no SkyUI and lots of other mods not working. Any suggestions? Thanks
