  1. Thanks again for the help, it worked. I initially had to press Q twice to disable, and then re-enable vertex shading, but then it was all good.
  2. Usually, when I start playing again after at least a month or two of inactivity of Oblivion, I choose the Imperials. A well balanced race with personality benefits. And you can't really feel left out with them either. But usually I end up switching back to the Argonians. Permanent Water-Breathing, full resistance to disease, large resistance to poison, what more could you want out of racial benefits? Aside from that, they look really cool to me, have tails, and other fellow Argonians seem to make my favorite NPC's.
  3. I'm sorry, but I'm STILL confused as to how to solve this problem. I don't remember ever checking off a box labeled "Use Color". All I did was select and delete, as shown in the picture below in case I may have faulted my wording. And thanks for helping.
  4. So I have been having this problem concerning the texture of land after I delete something directly over top of it. If there were a directly on flat land with the grass texture, and I were to delete that rock from the render window or cell window, the grass would keep it's shadow despite the rock not being there anymore. Sorry if the answer to this question is obvious, or this question has been said way too many times. If I tried to apply a new texture over the really dark ground, the darkness would still stay there. You can find an example of what I mean from one of my mods. The one named "City FPS Boosts" removes a lot of objects inside the cities. These would be stone walls, rocks, trees, and such. Cheydinhal is a great example, because anywhere I deleted something, the ground would be completely blackened. Maybe that's because Cheydinhal has quite intense lighting. I've been thinking of redoing the entire mod mentioned, though I most probably won't unless I have an answer. It just bothers me how just that I remove something, the ground beneath it gets disrupted. Does anyone else have this problem? And does anyone know how to delete the item, without leaving an ugly shadow on the ground?
  5. Well that depends on the type of mod you are using. Your best bet would be to read the readme files that are included with most mods. They should tell you the proper way of installing it. I can't tell you the exact way to install just any mod for Morrowind, because the that process differs for some mods. Though here is what I can tell you. -Usually, mods come packed in compressed archives. There are several of these, the most commonly used archive formats are zip, rar, and 7z (7 zip). Use an archive browsing program to extract them. I use IZarc, most people prefer 7zip. -After you have extracted the files, you need to know where your base Morrowind folder is. This would most likely be located at "C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Morrowind. -If there is a folder called "Data Files" in the mod folder, you can easily place the folder named "Mod Folder" into your Morrowind directory. -If there are folders that go by the name of "meshes", "bookart", "icons", "textures", "sound", "video", "music", "fonts", or "splash", copy those folders to your Morrowind/Data Files directory. -If there is an ESP (or ESM) file, move it to your Morrowind/Data Files directory. ALWAYS read the readme incase there is something you should not do. For example, some mods offer multiple ESP's for different effects, however they cannot be used together or will cause instability in the game. So, always read it, and do what it tells you. Also, after you have done all that stuff, launch Morrowind, click Data Files, and check any ESP's and ESM's that you added. Overall, this process is too simple once you have done it.
  6. By "mwse" you mean Morrowind Script Extender right? I only installed what was on the disc. In order from first to last it was "TES3 Morrowind", "TES3 Morrowind Construction Set", "Tribunal", "Bloodmoon". Completely clean install, no mods, no script extender. Also, I checked to make sure that Tribunal or Bloodmoon didn't cause the files to be lost. After installing vanilla morrowind and it's construction set, I browsed the "Morrowind/Data Files/Video" folder, and nope, the video's weren't there. Then I continued the installation. :( And remember, as I said before, I received the game in some "PC-Gamer" disc and case, and I had the videos before. Here are the contents of my video folder, in case it matters. Also, I would prefer to not have to watch the video's at all. My computer does a horrible job at processing bik files. So if any of you could, I would be pleased to not have to watch the movies. EDIT Nevermind. I browsed the internet a bit longer, and I heard that you can explore the disc, and there would most likely be a folder with the videos inside it. To my surprise, it was THAT EASY. Although I am still confused as to why the movie files transferred themselves on to my hard drive the first installation, but not any other times. Thanks anyways!
  7. The title explains it all. I am missing the video's for TES3 Morrowind. A few months ago, I bought the PC-GAMER TES3 GOTY Edition. The only difference that PC-GAMER makes is that it doesn't come with a manual, the cover has PC-GAMER logo's etc. And the before you open the installation window, there's some PC-GAMER window before it. The first time I installed it, everything was fine. Later, I got hungry over HDD space (I an old 40GB HDD.), and uninstalled it. The next time I installed it, the game was fine, except (Obviously), I was missing a few video files. I am only missing the vanilla morrowind video files. I have filenames in the video folder that go along the lines of "ceremony", "werewolf", "bearhunt", and "frost giant". Those of which I assume belong to the GOTY edition. I also have some file named "bm_endgame.bik" file. If someone could please send me the vanilla morrowind video files, I would be very pleased. That, or if I could skip it. (In the TES4 Oblivion ini, I could just modify the filenames that play at the beginning. In this however, I tried to modify those same values, but it still asks for the videos.) Thanks for your time.
